Too big for GI Joe. These might be 5" scale.

Yes and has some limbs that the other wave 1 figures lack.

Since it's Jakks the quality control is probably really good. However since it's Jakks, the scale of everyone to each other might be messed up. Everyone is the same size, don't know if that holds true in the movie.

Might get one. They remind me of those bots you swapped parts with a little tool from some years back. Anyone remember what ithose were called?

While I would normally be excited about customizable robots, I'm finding these aesthetically displeasing. Articulation looks subpar as well.

Can't say I think the movie looks decent either.

Saw these on the pegs.

Looked over the Deluxe sized ones.

Paint was flat. Poor choice by Jakks. Didnt have that metallic veneer look.

Also, no light up feature for the Deluxes.

I would have probably bought at least the main character if the paint was better or if he lit up.

Pass

I'm generally into robots, so I got the 5" Atom that lights up when you bop him on the head. Picked it up today, just on a whim.

It's a neat "toy", but not really that great of a figure. I could see how this line really won't capture much attention from anyone.

That said, if I see these go on sale, I may buy a couple more. Personally I still kind of dig the designs themselves.

I'm curious about it. I kind of hope that it'll at least be decently entertaining.

Finally saw them at Target the other night. And as I said in the first news thread about these:

Also from that other thread:

And now that I've actually seen the toys in person, they definitely screwed up the scale again.

I've seen the trailers and they have been attempting to promote the film, but I just haven't seen anything about the film that has me interested in it. Which is pretty darn sad because I really like robots but something about the trailers just say bad movie to me.

I actually think the movie might do alright. It looks to be just a fun, feel good father-son movie with a sports and sci-fi twist.

I actually liked the movie a lot more entertaining then those shitty tf movies, cartoon included. Tho the figures need some work.

Oh, I dont know about that....I got a Zues on my customs board that I tool the hands off of and added the full arms of a Zeon somethingorother- it has segmented arms and bg articulated blade hands- and it's looking nice and menacing.
I just gotta cut the crappy head off a Heroclix Sentinel and re-make it's face into something better, paint it all up and it'll be a horror-inducing mutant hunter!
