Never done a review before. Basically just wanted to share some pics. Anyway, I found a case of these at TRU the other day. The case was 6 Scorpions and 6 Sub-Zeros. At $10.99 each(Queens, NY). Definitely too steep a price, but I really wanted it and I think it's a pretty cool figure.

Some things to look out for is definitely paint apps, I went through all of them and this was the best I found. Mainly the flesh paint was rubbing off on some and the arms bands weren't meeting each other all the way around. Also the swords on the back aren't removable which is lame. And the Harpoon doesn't come with a chain. Other then that he's pretty sweet. The articulation is good enough. Kinda wish he had lower arm swivel but I'll deal with it. Overall I like the 3.75" way better then the 6". Besides the fact it's nice to finally have a 3.75" Mortal Kombat figure! Gonna go back and grab Sub-Zero tomorrow. Here's some pics. Enjoy!

ohhhhhhh seeing this makes me want them to have a Johnny Cage figure for that 3.75 scale sooooo badly

Good review by the way, I like that you had pictures comparing them to other figures from other toylines.

I thought the same thing. That ninja set is just too crappy for me to buy. Maybe if it was cheaper. I guess the figures are somewhat decent, but the paint apps on the eyes were terrible!!!

Thanks man! Yeah definitely want all the characters from MK9 now. Really hope we get them. Including Goro and Shao Kahn!

Pretty good pictures, saw this in TRU today and was an easy pass with the terrible paint apps and poor quality of the figures. Keep up the reviews!

I can't wait to pick these up! Could they be better...sure..but with all the parts you can swap with MU figures it looks like its all worthwhile in the end. And on a side note, awesome idea with giving scorp' Ghost Rider's head (now I finally have a reason to get that figure!) and I'm totally gonna give the "freeze blast" accessory (that came with the Arctic Iron Man from the IM2 line) to Subby when I get him.

I'm pretty sure Sub-Zero comes with a Freeze Blast. But you can always use 2 right?! The IM2 one is probably better anyway

Edit* My mistake. Just looked at the pic of Sub on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jazwares-Mor...item27bfe8062b

He comes with an Ice sword. Looks all warped too. Wish the weapons would've been hard plastic. Anyway, that IM2 freeze blast will definitely look cool with him.

Forgot to mention there's no peg holes on the feet either. Would've been really cool if they did stands for these. Maybe a circle stand with the character name and MK Dragon on it.

Valley Stream. They were in the case above the Halo section. Unless they put them out finally. Carle Place has them now also, a buck cheaper over there

Thanks for the pics, I've been quite curious on these since first hearing about them earlier in the year, but I was afraid Jazwares would pull a "Mattel" and make them 1/18 SCALE, not 3.75 SIZED like Hasbro's stuff.

Glad to see some bulk to these figures, I'll be looking to put in a couple preorders at BBTS (Classic Ninjas and Classic Robo Ninjas!)

The 10.99 pricepoint is a bit surprising to me, that is the range BBTS is offering these guys, and I know they aren't likely getting as good a price as TRU is.

Thanks for the heads up! Valley Stream is TOO far for me coming all the way from Astoria (the OTHER end of Queens) but I found the MK9/ cyborg ninjas figures at Rego Park.

Btw, quick tip for those planning to by any of the recent Jazwares figures (SF or MK):

CHECK THE UPPER ARMS!!! I've run in to the problem of figures having 2 right (yes, so far it's always been the right side) upper arms. If you're lucky the TRU employee will "damage it out".

So far I've had to switch out Guile from Street Fighter and tomorrow I'm going to have to exchange the cyborg 3pk for Sektor.

Btw does anyone know how many 4 inch MK9 figures there are? Hopefully it's on 2 so far. The 2 I got Subby and Scorpion.

I've only heard of Scorpion and Subzero being sighted so far.
There are also pre-orders out there for Cage, Raiden, Reptile, Baraka, and Jax.

Saw this fug a couple of weeks ago at TRU nad was seriously not impressed.
Details and paint apps were poor- more in keeping with those cheap army figs than MU or Joe level quality.
You'd be far better off making your own from a MU Ronin with a Storn Shadow head.
