Saw Omega I think it was at Gamestop... was pretty impressed... nice clamshell packaging too. Seeing these kinda made me wish I played Fortnite instead of Overwatch. Even though Overwatch will have Hasbro Legends/Black Series scale figs soon nothing will ever beat decent 3.75" scale toys IMO.

Jazwares May have a hit on their hands as every store I went to today had 8 to 15 year old boys going ape crap crazy over these (like we did when we first saw new Joes!) my 12 year old son asked for them for Christmas (I just showed him the images online, not my figures). Kids were begging their parents for them. Most of the parents all were saying Christmas is coming up. The fact that kids and older kids were begging for them has to be a good sign, hopefully the line can keep their attention.

I saw them everywhere today! I picked up Omega and the Llam pack. They are really good figures! I plan to pick up the entire line. The go good with Joes and even better with the newer Corps figures (given I use them with Joes as well, but these guys kinda go right in the middle of the two lines) the paint apps and quality is pretty good thus far!

Went out to Walmart, but didn't see any Fortnite merchandise...Bummed. Would have picked up a few.

There is so much potential product there that isn't being touched yet,

Hundreds of more characters,
They have released a single glider out of hundreds
handful of backpacks out of hundreds

loads of gadgets like clingers, gas grenades, grapple guns, launch pads
Health items like shield potions and slurp juice

vehicles like the golfcart and shopping basket.

I could actually see them making a launch pad as a decent play feature toy,

make the center really springy so that it could actually launch a figure a decent height.

Wouldn't that give the PPA (Paranoid Parents Association) something to get up in arms over....

Ugh, like others are encountering, my Target did not get any Teknique figures. Even though they were (and still are) available for in-store pick-up on the website. They didn't even let me know until I went in to pick my order up. I ended up just ordering one for delivery instead. Hopefully that one will actually get here.

The ones I did get look sweet though. They have an endcap display in the main aisle, which is nice.

Eh, not really there are loads of toys with play features that do somewhat similar stuff.
Leap feature on the Jurassic World raptors recently for example.

You sound like you are too young to remember the uproar over the missile launching Boba Fett.

Well my wal Mart just got a bunch of the figures and plush lamma and the first couple McFarlane figures. They got put out on a shelf in the toy department. No sign of the big bus display but my store is smaller and does not usually get large displays.

Gotta save material for later waves. As demand and sales grow, shelf space will open up more, and product will be wanted to fill it because of volume moved.

So how well it does now really bodes well for the future of the lines as a whole. And it'll keep going for as long as product keeps selling and retailers want it because it moves.

That's essentially how it goes for any toy line.

Fun little figures- I'm mostly out of 1:18 but these were too interesting to pass up. I dig 'em!

I ordered Omega from Target, should arrive this week. I haven't gotten a chance to look for the figures out in the wild yet, but I'm going to look for the pinata today or tomorrow.

Hey people who have Carbide or Omega:

Do your figures have 2 lower right legs instead of a right and a left? It's hard to see, but the left foot sits a little funny and both lower legs have the same curve, when they should be mirrored.

Other than this weirdness, these are pretty easily the best figures I've gotten in years. Maybe ever.

I have both, but I’ll have to check when I get home.

I don’t know about best figures in years in the scale.Thats probably Boss Fight or Marauder. At actual retail though, for sure. And definitely the most fun, which surprised me since I never even played Fortnite.

It is close but I would have to go with Boss Fight too.

I mean, truthfully, I have to go with Zombie Labs, but only because I was finally able to make all the Nathan Drakes I’ve wanted in this scale for years. But as far as straight up figures as they are, the Boss Fight fantasy stuff is outstanding. I’ll probably LIKE Marauder more as soon as I get my Agency Ops Kickstarter stuff and make a bunch of Bonds.

As to Carbide and Omegas legs, both of my figures were fine.

Lastly, It took less than ONE DAY for these to get wiped out from my closest Walmart and Target. Yesterday morning, Target had an endcap for these. Missing a few things they didn’t get, but they were stocked. Today, completely gone and replaced with other merch. Walmart put out the Battle Bus stand which was full of all sorts of stuff on Saturday. On Sunday, it was cleaned out, but I found the Jazwares stuff still in the shippers, so I grabbed Teknique and the four pack out of the boxes. Today, a handful of the singles were in the Battle Bus and the loot box containers were empty. That’s nuts.

Zombie Labs is good but unreliable so far. I wanted 1 figure and they cancelled it, but somehow I managed to get it anyway. The upside is they are Boss Fight compatible, and there are a couple more lines coming (eventually ?) that are too.

Thanks for checking. I guess I'll see if Jazwares will replace mine.

Carbide & Omega

These two share the same body mold/design but Omega has some additional pieces glued on.
