I used to collect McFarlane sports action figure variants. I came across what I believe to be a one of a kind one day. I have a Nolan Ryan Cooperstown Series 3 wearing the Angels uniform and the Astros (the variant uniform) hat. It is unopened obviously. Anyone have any idea what something like that would be worth? If anything at all?

Better off asking a baseball card/sports memorabilia expert. As far as toys go, "errors" hold little to no extra value. In the sports world, it is often just the opposite.

I would guess fair market value plus ten to 25% depending on condition of the piece. To the right Nolan Ryan collector, If it is bang on gem mint, put it in a protector and flog it for double fair market value.

If it is selling for $25... then I'd wager $35-$40. Perhaps even nothing more or even worse-less value. Who knows? That is just my opinion as a toy guy. Most here just collect and speaking of resale value is a bit taboo. Best advice, ask a baseball guy.

hmm, you have just 2 posts and asking for value on a sports figure as your first post. did you just join just to get a price? you wont get much answers cuz members will notice that. plus you gotta go to a sports memo forum not a action figure forum, its a diff. animal.

People join every month and ask value of odd toys. Very common. We are always more than happy to help. That is why this community exists.... to help and share. I for one am always willing to research and answer a strangers question.
