I'm a fan of the Dead Space series and around when Dead Space 2 came out I was looking for a good toy representation of the main character. So on a whim I picked up one of NECA's figures and was greatly impressed. I liked the figure a lot, especially the LED feature. I wasn't that much interested in the necromorph toy so I passed on him. I then began to wonder what if NECA made other figures based on other outfits from the game, particularly the vintage suit. However no other figures came out after those two. So what gives NECA? Did you lose the Dead Space license or was there just not enough of a demand? If anyone knows what happened please let me know.

I'm not sure if they lost it or not, but I really want a good DS 1 issac. They're pricey now though, but I just don't like the DS2 suit as much as the classic

I'm fairly certain that they didn't lose the licence. NECA usually makes about one to two characters from each video game from their Player Select Line. Usually.

For example, we only got 1 toy from Ninja Gaiden and two from Borderlands, but AC:Brotherhood got its own line of repaint/retools.

So don't worry, I'm sure that by the time DS3 rolls out they'll have Isaac and Carter and maybe rerelease some older DS toys on cardboard blister cards.

I'm just worried about whatever happened to their Dante from DMC they showed off years ago and never released.

Unless you have Ezio in your name, you will be lucky if you have more than 2 figures. They still never bothered to make a Claire and Wesker for their RE series, and those two are extremely important characters.
