There is only 50 of these in existence. Back in 2001 HotWheels and Walmart promoted a contest to kids to draw a car. It was one winner per state. I won the contest in RI and received my prize shortly after.

The HotWheels 2001 Collector's Editon is a massive crate containing all 96 models Mattel produced in the year 2001. My box has some slight wear to it, but it's safely wrapped up and put away. I see if I can dig it up out of all the junk in my basement and post some pictures.

So my main question is, how much would this be worth, and how much would someone (Especially die-hard fans and completists out there) be willing to pay for one?

Something like that is really hard to gauge in terms of price. It would be considered a rare and unique collectible, surely, and some of the more hardcore collectors might be interested in it. However, most casual or semi-casual collectors would probably consider it too far out there to pick up. Especially if it means attempting to get the other 49 to complete the set.

My suggestion would be to check on Ebay or Amazon to see if any other winners have put up their prize.

GodzillaFan1993, I also won the drawing contest in 2001 an received my box set. Box has normal wear an tear but nothing hurtful to the eye. An I'm am also curious as to what these are going for price wise today only because I'd like to liquidate mine but of course want a fair price for it as well
