Well, new here. Figured why not post some pictures of my collection.
As an intro, I only collect imports from Japanese and Hong Kong companies (select few). I have bought 1 non import and meh (a Mezco figure). I have been collecting for over 20 years. I collected all kinds of figures and statues. At one point had a enormous 3,000 crane machine figurine collection from Japan. Also had around 1,000 Funko Pops at another time. I went the Hot toys route too and stopped at 35 figures right after I graduated college and sold them all. Did some Hasbro stuff Star Wars and Marvel Universe but passion wasn't there. Then went the vinyl route with Disney and had almost the entire Vinylmation collection, perhaps around 950 figures. Did some time collecting Bearbricks from Medicom too. Back then I usually would sell my entire collection and move to something new. Always been a fan of collecting figures from lines that had a lot of releases. Always believed in quality AND quantity LOL. For a while I collected PVC statues from Megahouse, Atelier, Koto and other manufacturers. PVC such as One Piece, Saber, Queen's Blade etc. Sold all those. Also had my slim time collecting Sideshow 1/4 scale Premium format. Had about 5 and quit them because honestly they were way too expensive, lack of space and just a piece there sitting pretty gathering dust at an enormous dollar price. So, yeah I have been all over the place. Finally settled in Action figures from Imported companies. Always been a fan of Bandai since my childhood years and currently I am a 100% fan of Storm Collectibles. Lines/companies I collect are Storm Collectibles, S.H Figuarts, Mafex, Sentinel, Medicos (SAS), Figma. I personally collect Imports because I feel they carry a premium to them vs lines such as Hasbro, Neca, etc. Yes mostly all is manufactured in China but even in local markets if you compare a Figuart with a Marvel Legends.... I mean.. If you wish to see more pictures I do have an Instagram @Joshytheimporter. **Please do not ask me about my set up, I get this question 1000 times every single time I post my pictures on Facebook or anywhere. I understand you may want one like that but I post my pictures for overall enjoyment. Nothing more annoying than posting a hard earned collection for people to comment how they can get those set ups for theirs lol. Please understand. |

Man, that's an impressive collection! I particularly like the Kinnikuman and Storm Collectibles figures. Surprised Storm hasn't picked up the Kinnikuman license actually, that seems like an obvious match.
