If they make Zodd and the Skull Knight with horse, I'll be content.

Given how expensive the Figma ones are now I'll be sure to collect these.

Curious to see what the NA mark-up will be, especially for Griffith.

LOL these sold out within minutes on Amiami and Hobbylink Japan. Still available on BBTS with noticeable markup prices.

Yeah I tried to order off some other Japanese sites since amiami isn’t allowed to ship Bandai products to Buyers in japan for whatever reason and other sellers are sold out as well. Luckily I live in Japan so I’m hopeful i’ll be able to find them at a bandai store but I’m a little nervous about not being able to preorder.

With what some places charge for shipping. Unless you are shipping other stuff together, the price difference drops when factoring it in. Still keeping an eye on AJ, but the shipping isn't what it used to be.

Yes, difference drops with the increased shipping prices. But usually I can still save $20 on SHF figures, and $60 on large items like MH creator model statues. Don't forget US sites charge taxes and shipping on top of the jacked up prices.

AJ charges US sales tax now. For Guts and Griffith I went with BBTS as AJ had already sold out when I checked.

The first version has an un-helmeted head, why would this one? This is when the berserk armors activated can’t really imagine him without a helmet like this.

What's AJ? It's not one of the stores I mentioned. There are so many that doesn't charge US tax. Amiami, Animeexport, Hobby Genki, 1999.co, etc.

I think Bandai and Ami Ami have some kind of agreement these days to not to ship their product to Japanese buyers. This is a more recent thing as before the pandemic they were able to sell to buyers within Japan.

I'm assuming AJ is Amazon Japan.

Yeah I sent a message to customer service and was told they’re unable to disclose the reason. Pretty lame since they have the best prices and shipping is only ¥600

Sorry, the common abbreviation for Amazon Japan on TFW. Thought it was part of the common parlance here.

I agree that Amazon Japan is way more expensive than those other site I mentioned. I know I save a lot more since I've been ordering from them for years.

Pandemic made me skittish about ordering from Asia unless its Amazon Japan. I got burned pretty bad when Nippon Yasan went under. I used to order from some of the Japanese e-tailers, but have done all right with Amazon Japan. Cannot beat the fact once it ships I'll have it within 2-3 days.
