At this point if they would make these 4", even with their crap articulation, I would buy them all, anytime they came out. Same with the DC ones.

Man I wish these were closer to Joes. Even with the junk articulation I still may pick up Spawn and Redeemer.

These retro 5 POA figures are starting to get that Funko POP stink.... I'd rather spend my cash on the original Spawn figures from the '90s, especially as they aren't worth much and still look great with their genuine vintage designs.

Eh... With just a little more articulation and 3.75 scale I would buy everything from this line. What a pity...

3 inch instead of 3.75 inch

7 inch (with wildly inconsistent scaling) instead of 6 inch*

*Retro Batman 66 inch line (but with limited articulation and done at 6 inch scale instead of 7 inch that everyone already collected)

You can’t please em all, as they say, but that’s just laughable

Yeah, McFar is a bit of an idiot contrarian. He believes he can bend collectors to his preferences and he’s right about that regarding many of his fans.

*laughs in Hasbro*

You ever try standing up an allegedly "6 inch" Marvel Legends figure alongside a "6 inch" Black Series figure, a "6 inch" Lightning Collection figure, a "6 inch" Plasma Series figure, etc, etc, and see how they scale in relation to each other?

Eh, people are just happy to see someone pushing back against the 1/12th-scale crybullies.

Meh, sounds like people that collect this line feel exactly that way about cascading scales within DC Multiverse and deflecting to Legends feels a bit apologist in nature. The comment didn't suggest that fluctuations weren't present within Marvel Legends, it was simply a call out of McFar's inconsistencies.

It’s wonderful that you enjoy figures from all scales; I believe that’s one of the things I’ve noticed in your comments deriding 6" collectors on at least a few occasions. However, it’s also ok for people to have their own preferences for their own collections. I’ve no issue with 3.75”, nor 7" figures and I’ve no expectations that all figures be 6”. However, I would like another 6” DC themed line as follow-up to the very successful DCUC and to match my Legends collection.

McFar could’ve gone that route, but he decided to buck a fanbase that would’ve gladly transitioned. That of course is his prerogative (just as is his stance on female figures), but I don’t have to buy, and it has little to do with being a scale-purist...or a "crybully?"
