These retro 5 POA figures are starting to get that Funko POP stink.... I'd rather spend my cash on the original Spawn figures from the '90s, especially as they aren't worth much and still look great with their genuine vintage designs.

7 inch (with wildly inconsistent scaling) instead of 6 inch*

*Retro Batman 66 inch line (but with limited articulation and done at 6 inch scale instead of 7 inch that everyone already collected)

Meh, sounds like people that collect this line feel exactly that way about cascading scales within DC Multiverse and deflecting to Legends feels a bit apologist in nature. The comment didn't suggest that fluctuations weren't present within Marvel Legends, it was simply a call out of McFar's inconsistencies.

It’s wonderful that you enjoy figures from all scales; I believe that’s one of the things I’ve noticed in your comments deriding 6" collectors on at least a few occasions. However, it’s also ok for people to have their own preferences for their own collections. I’ve no issue with 3.75”, nor 7" figures and I’ve no expectations that all figures be 6”. However, I would like another 6” DC themed line as follow-up to the very successful DCUC and to match my Legends collection.

McFar could’ve gone that route, but he decided to buck a fanbase that would’ve gladly transitioned. That of course is his prerogative (just as is his stance on female figures), but I don’t have to buy, and it has little to do with being a scale-purist...or a "crybully?"
