The Army Alphas Kickstarter will be wrapping up in a just over a week from this post so I thought I should do my part to help make sure it gets funded.

If it reaches $65,000, a weapons pack will be unlocked.


At $70k, a stand-in for a certain silent ninja will be unlocked.

At $80k, the standard trooper from the snake themed evil terrorist organization will be unlocked.


So those of you who need realistic weapons in six inch scale or those wanting six inch GI Joe figures, I strongly encourage you to back this campaign.

Though just shy of $1,109 from hitting the last stretch goal, Cryptid Toys has said that he is willing to include the last stretch goal in the Backerkit phase for those who helped fund the Kickstarter:

"Tech issues at the worst possible time
A lot of people added to their pledges to get him and the final funding level was soo close to that 95K mark to unlock him so he'll be available to everyone in the Backerkit phase."

No clue yet on which figures...I just did like all the responsible adults do...threw money at the problem...Gonna have a tough time deciding when the BackerKit actually hits.

i actually took time and thought which i wanted. Could NOT get it down to the types i wanted.
ended up..

3x UPC soldier..i like the army look..and the digi camo

2x Night Ops SWAT..they look sweet with that alternate head on.
1x Stealth Ninja (those last three are a team)

2x Grey SWAT ( i just thought they looked cool )

1 x weapons pack

i was gonna get that Alpha...and was watching until the last minute..but he didnt make the initial cut.
so i'll snag when he's up for pre-order.

My initial thoughts going into the Kickstarter were 3x Blue SWAT & 1x Weapons Cache, but with all of the new reveals I'm back to square one.

I got into this line with the 'GI Joe' potential. So I did the 8 figure basic pledge. I'm getting the Cobalt troopers and the Night Ops troopers. Just deciding how many of each I want. And I'll add 2 Alpha's for a not-Duke and not-Beach Head and the Stealth Ninja.

A really good "Not Beachhead," going solely on existing parts if not colours, would need a green torso, brown legs, black boots, the black "SWAT" vest and the Colt SMG.
