Yes it is, but you never see it. It's covered up by the hips and the cape.

That's not the problem though, is it? Translucent plastic is extremely fragile. The place where they've chosen to use it is one of the worst places possible.

Yeah, I've had to repair quite a few Diamond Select figures that broke due to translucent plastic
I'm still absolutely going to buy a few of these, and as much as I love GoT, I'm grateful that Funko chose this franchise as their Wave 1 "guinea pig" for the Legacy line. That way, ideally, they can have all the kinks worked out by the time the Firefly Legacy figures go into production

I just can't fathom why they would put trans plastic there. I can easily replace it with stronger plastic, but consumers shouldn't have to do that. At least I know which figures I want. Jon Snow, Arya, and Ygritte. I know Arya and Ygritte aren't even announced yet, but they're bound to be eventually.

I want the chair and base, that is all, never got into the show, but a few of them could be used as Warriors or 3 customs, or Black Knight custom.

Yep thats who it was!

So im pissed. When i got off i swung by b&n, they had jon snow and ned stark so naturally i picked them up. Got home, opened them up and jon is great. Ned, when i was taking him from the plastic his arm came off. I wasn't even pulling hard and it dropped off....

This would make a perfect figure for making a custom Faramir! Now I think I need to get one...

Dang... Funko already doing death/dismemberment variants? They really ARE going all out with this line! =P

That's very disheartening At $20 per figure, that's just unacceptable. I'd expect that from Mattel or Hasbro, but I had hoped that Funko was going to hold themselves to a higher standard.
I'm about to head to B&N and begin my hunt now. I hope I don't regret my purchases.

Just got my Daenerys figure today in the mail... it is pretty badass. Sculpt, articulation, paint... everything is perfect. Potential quality control issues aside (hopefully that'll turn out to be an isolated incident), Funko has impressed the hell out of me, and I'm not even a follower of the books or show. Might pick up other characters now because these are just fun figures.

Yeah like everyone I'm having some QC issues.

My ned stark lost a hand (be funny if it was his head) after I was loosing his articulation.

My Hound lost his foot and his scabbard holder on his hip when i tried to slip the sheath into it

I didn't spot any at my local B&N last night, and I'm beginning to think that I may have dodged a bullet. I still really want Tyrion and Daenerys, but I have to prepare myself to be ready to do some emergency repairs once I open them.

It's sad that quality control has become such a glaring problem in the action figure industry. About a decade ago, when SOTA was releasing their awesome Street Fighter figures, on the rarest of rare occasions that one of their figures slipped through the QC cracks and broke straight out of the package, they would mail another to the customer, at no added expense to the customer. A friend purchased a defective Sakura from Hot Topic, and after reading about their generous policy online, he sent them an e-mail with a pic of the broken joint, and SOTA just sent him a new one! Lol, maybe it was that sort of generosity that helped to put them out of business

They look great. Really is a shame about the joint snapping issues. So which figures do you have to replace?

The bodies on these are pretty good but the faces are off. If I get Ned, I'll definitely try to do a head swap with one of the Boromir heads from LOTR. I picked up John Snow and Tyrion because they are my favorite characters and they are close enough, but Ned looks AWFUL. Dany is okay. Doesn't really look like the actress but she's not bad.
