Okay, so this summer I came across the Hero Factory toys from Bionicle. Bionicle is a line I never collected. A few weeks ago, I got to handle a Hero Factory figure for the 1st time, and was surprised by the quality. The HF figures are built well.
So what's this line all about(bionicle in general), what are the best figures to get, and what should I watch out for, good and bad? Right now, I am interested in getting the $12.99 villains, some of the impulse sells, and the Von Nebula guy as well as Rotor. SCHOOL ME!

Do you know those company size boxes of paper they sell?
well we have 1 entire box filled to the very top with bioncles,we folded them all neat and stuffed them in there and after the ,hold on............................ok after we went to see the disaster that is our bioncle collection we have to say that 1 of our favorite series is the Rahkshi , our decision is just at first glance , we might change our answer later . We like the Rahkshi series mainly because they're simple and the gimmick they have actually works(it can swing its arms side to side). Tips 1. only get the ones you want 2.keep all instructions 3.do NOT put them all in the same box,we just checked our box and they are so screwed but actually we think we're gonna have fun putting them back together.......OH no we were clean for 3 years NO not agian we wont start this collection again NOOO!...........................Hope this helps |

I just got the red Bionicle from the Stars series. I forgot the name but it's pretty cool! Came with the swappable bonus gold mask, which is part of the reason why I wanted it. I mean it has a sword AND it's red, so win/win situation for me. VERY poseable due to ball joints. I don't mind the lack of elbows and knees on the smaller figures. I am definitely going to buy more.
I take it these aren't ideal to MOC a lot, since it might stress out the joint sockets and lead to breakage. Overall I am very impressed and pleased. I love how you can store the figure inside it's case after you are done too! Will probably get Skrall and that dude in white with the swords, maybe not the others, but who knows. I want to get the Hero Factory villains too.
