They can’t stop making Batman but they’ve run out of poses so now it’s just Batman putting on gloves. Next month is Batman lacing up boots and January is Batman in boxers-briefs. I’m joking, but that would sell like crazy

It's not like they haven't mined batman standing on a gargoyle to death already.

This IS my fav comicbook Batman but this offering is just not doing it for me. For one, the pose is so un-superhero like and more in line with a cosplayer getting ready for Comicon in front of his mirror. The second thing is that I dont recall the chest logo being quite as large on his chest. Kinda screams 70s Mego doll. If this was an action figure,I think I would open my wallet for it knowing I could change the pose.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I like the pose for Batman as an alternative to what we’ve seen with previous statues. IMO, Batman donning his costume is symbolic of a transformation from his contrived Bruce Wayne “persona” into who he truly is and just as meaningful as Iron Man suiting up. Whereas conventional thinking has most heroes take off costumes to be who they really are, Batman represents the opposite of that process.

The Star Wars ones are off to me, but that Batman, definitely prefer the overall look of it, general slender proportion, color, etc. It definitely is one of the versions through the years that I liked about Batman. Not quite 60s or 70s Super Friends but definitely comics and I think the same general look for his comic strip version in the 80/90s? Dont want the McFarlane version of this so definitely looking for import (most likely MAFEX) to give me one that's articulate with this same exact look.
