Very nice. This to me is the iconic, definitive version of the character popularized by artists like Jim Starlin and Ron Lim.

But this isn't how either of them drew Thanos. The pattern is the same but proper Thanos doesn't have all those excess lines or anything that actually looks like armor plating. I'm not bashing this design but it's not the classic (what I consider proper) look. It's better than his Marvel Now look which added lights and took away the gloves and boots.

True. Ever since Jim Lee infected the industry with gratuitous muscle-hugging lines and armor plates, everybody has to get in on the act. Still, from the shoulders up, this is close enough that I like it.

Yeah this is like a modern stylized interpretation of the classic design, the movie look would've been better if it looked like this.
