Is Song Bird and Serpent Society a spoiler or just random figures they tossed in?

$39.99 Australian Dollar = $32 USD. It's still high, but then you expect a markup for early sale of a hot item. And, it's Australia.

Wasn't Song Bird the winner of the last fan poll or something? Besides, they always toss in comic figures in every movie wave.

Yes to all the comic figures! They look great. That Thanos head is...there. I'll most likely pick up the Proxima Midnight figure too because she can pass for a comic style version I suppose. Quiet honestly, even the movie figures look good to me. Solid Wave all around.

Thanos, Iron Man, Captain America, Iron Spider, and Proxima Midnight are easy purchases for me. I have spots ready for them. Been waiting for these and Hasbro did not disappoint. Let's go Toy Fair!

KC & TM for me. Another wave I get to save $$ on! Just getting Mysterio & Prowler from the Lizard BAF wave, Namor & BB from BP wave so just 6 figures from 3 waves for me. Only wave I am getting everyone is from the BAF Sasquatch wave. Umpteenth MCU IM/CAP/Spiderman movie figs can ride the pine for all I care. That Thanos BAF head looks like he's breathing a sigh of relief after cutting a Lincoln log that he'd been trying to push out for a week.

Taskmaster is the must-have in this wave for me. He looks so awesome. Not sure if I'm going to keep my old-school Toy Biz version after I pick this one up, however. We'll see. I might get Songbird too, depending on how she looks in-hand.

And Proxima Midnight? Who the hell is that?

I feel... weird about that Songbird. On one hand I am glad we're finally getting her at all. On the other hand they took a character that won a fan poll, gave her a reused body mold that wasn't great in the first place, and gave her only chopping hands? When Hasbro tries you can really see it but when they don't...

Oh look another Iron Man that looks exactly the same, with the exact same accessories.

Underwhelmed by Cap.

Spidey is the only one that I will pick up, and that might even be an if, because he doesn't come with any accessories. Spider-Man has to have alt hands.

Believe me, you'll be selling off that scawny TB version of TM in a heartbeat once you get the Hasbro version in your hands. The problem with these generals that Marvel has created for Thanos is that they are pretty much lame characters that will be killed off withing a few yrs, resurrected for another lame storyline, killed off again & then wash-rinse-repeat. Ol school Thanos never needed assistants to carry out his universe conquering schemes back in the day. He would manipulate his mistress Lady Death into allowing him to procure the infinity gems & he would go out & get all 6 himself. They are wasted characters that wasted 5 slots that could have gone to characters that really played a role in the comic based infinity sagas. A comic classic Silver Surfer should be one of the figures in these waves, not be a Walgreens exclusive. Classic Adam Warlock as well, not that modern version that Hasbro did. How bout Pip the troll, classic Hulk sized Drax the Destroyer, Starfox. Where are they? Probably won't ever get em cuz 5 lame lackeys of Thanos take precedence.

Nice of them to keep Iron Man out of the BAF. I’m looking forward to Cap and Spider-Man, they are different enough to be worth a purchase. Especially since this is the first Chris Evans head they’ve done, beard be damned. I only want Taskmaster from the comic figures, but I’m definitely building Thanos. Proxima Midnight is an interesting choice, if we were going to get an MCU Black Order villain I would have assumed it would be Corvus Glaive. Maybe this means shew will have an important role in the movie, a daughter loyal to Thanos could make a good foil to Gamora and Nebula.

I'm just wondering...

A: Why was the headsculpt for Taskmaster changed. It's clearly different from the one that was shown during the Hasbro reveal last year. Was Super 7 threatening to sue?

B: Do they have the actual rights to produce Chris Evans, because yet again that looks nothing like him. Yet another failed attempt...unless this is what Chris Evans looks like...

This wave is hot garbage in my opinion...and that's coming from someone who usually buys entire Legends waves by the case.

^ Yah... I thought the Lizard Spidey wave was pretty bad selection wise... but this wave has potential to overtake the Ant-man wave as the greatest pegwarming wave of all-time IMO. I mean I am buying Cap, but I don't have a Cap yet in my collection. Can't see too many others buying yet another movie Cap, IM & Spidey.

Super agree, This wave looks like the original THanos BAF wave in terms of peg warming. The two worst selling waves I have ever seen were The Thanos BAF and Ultron/Antman wave......

All the figures look to be peg warmers outside Spidey(Although, that waits to be seen). I am positive a movie Thanos BAF will NOT move this wave at all, if the original comic version did not.

Now, that Cap America looks bad.....the face. I am so upset at the way it looks, the 5th or 6th opportunity for Hasbro, that I just bought the Hot Toys version last night and gave up on an accurate MCU Chris Evans from Hasbro.

Was kinda hoping for Thanos in his regal armored splendor.
But it makes sense, given that he seems to be dressed casually in the few parts we've been shown from the movie so far. Will I need to wait for the next one to get that, I wonder?
Serpent Society though, not Corvus Glaive, or someone else relevant? Weird.

They mostly look great. And although I'd like to say that I will pick and choose, I won't. I'm buying all of those.

Looking forward to seeing some loose shots, when they appear. Packaged shots like these aren't always the most flattering. Thumbs up for Songbird and Proxima, though!
