I figure I would start one since I'm a big fan and I'm sure there a lot of others out there who collect as well. Here's my MISB collection, which I'm highly tempted to pull out of the boxes when I get a good detolf case for them. I'll update with a better pic when I have time to take it during the day time So far the new Psylocke is my favorite one out of the Marvel group.

Thanks, I totally forgot that there was a Yelena BW variant arg:P Which means I'm sort of one short of them! I don't count the the revised ones that they do of the same ladies though like BW and Psylocke. But dang it...this one is so spendy....

Your collection is very impressive! Right now I currently have only 8 Bishoujo statues (had 9, but sold one), but I do have quite a few other Kotobukiya statues (from lines like their ArtFX series). I realize that a lot of people prefer to keep them in the box because the price of some of them has absolutely skyrocketed, but speaking as someone who has opened all of his, these statues are GORGEOUS and look amazing when displayed out of the package. I know it would be painful to open that Jean Grey or your Dark Phoenix, since they seem to go for crazy prices on ebay, but believe me, they just look so great.

Thanks, you should post some more of your pics besides these.

Great idea ! Ya'll have seen my Tekken girls, but here are my others.
First off, here are my two DC girls:

And, here is Lucy (at least I think that's what Koto named her) the Ghostbuster:

Lol, everyone who sees this statue gives the same response; an eye roll followed by a "really dude? A sexy Ghostbuster?" lol

And here are my two X-Women. Storm is HUGE compared to Psylocke, by the way. The brand new Psylocke that just came out looks great, but I'm only a casual/nostalgic fan of the character, and I already have this Bishoujo, and the Diamond Select Psylocke bikini statue, so I have far more Psylocke paraphernalia than a fan of my caliber should have, lol.

Finally, here is my Invisible Woman statue. Sue is, by far, one of my favorite female Marvel characters, and I love this SDCC design (wasn't a huge fan of the original design), so this is one of my favorites, even though it isn't as risqué as some of the others

Oddly enough, even though I love this line, and I love Kotobukiya's Star Wars stuff, I'm just really not a fan of the Star Wars Bishoujo statues.
Koto's Star Wars statues are SOOO amazing. I would definitely prefer much more realistic interpretation of Jaina and Mara Jade. But I guess since Koto didn't have actresses to base the likenesses on, it was probably easier for them to just interpret these characters as generalized anime-inspired women, for the Bishoujo line.

Oh, I don't know. I think Annie Potts could have pulled it off back in the day.

I think that's more appropriate to the character. She's attractive, but she is far more associated with being part of the FF family (wife/sister/mother) than being a sexpot.

Unless we're talking about Malice, of course.

Whoa I knew some of the scales were off on these, but man that's a big difference, are they all off scale or did they fix them? I know the Ms. Marvel one is just as big. Yes but she looks so hot in the X-Force one:P What's the diamon select bikini? Do you have a pic I can see.

Lol, yeah, that's another reason I passed on the original one too. It's hard to think of Sue in that sense. That's also why I refuse to pick up the Kitty Pryde Bishoujo. Certain Marvel characters, like you said, or just too familial to be seen as sexy. The SDCC exclusive at least gives of more of a "flirty" vibe than a sexy or sultry one, so oddly enough, I'm cool with it, while not being a huge fan of the original.

Oh yeah, and you're right, that is Streaky with Supergirl

So far, it seems like the scales are all over the place. I may be remembering it wrong, but before I sold my Wonder Woman, she seemed a little too small to pose next to Batgirl and Supergirl. And Sue, Storm, and Psylocke look horrible when posed together. They are all sized WAY too differently. Koto seems so be fixing this issue, since statues from certain franchises are intended to be posed together, like the Tekken statues.

Oh yeah, nearly forgot, here are the pics of the Psylocke statue you were asking about:

Sadly, this bikini is far more modest than her Jim Lee-designed costume, lol !

Haha but they Kitty one she's fully clothed as well as Sue so it's not bad:P And the pose isn't as sultry either, just wait till the Spider-Woman one comes out. Plus that's the whole point to this line is to be sexy:P What do you think of this line that they're going to be doing? http://news.toyark.com/2013/10/31/ko...statues-107615

Yeah it's like the MP Transformers:P That's why they did a reboot before the line got too far into it. Although with these it's also the stands and poses as well which I can kind of understand on the scale.

LOL! Since Koto hasn't released any new pics of the horror icon Bishoujo statues, I've been hoping that is was some sort of hoax, lol! I guess we'll know for sure during Toy Fair in February.
Sexy versions of Jason and Freddy are about just an unfathomably bizarre idea
I honestly think that a horror line would be cool if they stuck with more appropriate and fitting characters from some of the horror-influenced sci-fi and fantasy franchises. Characters like Sil from Species, and Selene from Underworld come to mind immediately. Koto has the license for Aliens merch, so maybe even a Bishoujo Ripley might be cool. Hmmm... on second thought, I'm not so sure about that one. If they didn't handle the character well, a LOT of fans, including myself, would be very angry.

As weird as it sounds, like I mentioned in that other thread, a sexy female Ash (from AoD and Evil Dead) could be cool too. Or, maybe classic horror monsters (i.e. Universal Monsters) like a Bride of Frankenstein. The artist Coop has done some cool pin-up stuff of the Bride, so a sexy manga version isn't too hard to imagine.
This line from the 90's is proof that classic monsters can be interpreted in cool manga-inspired ways:
Resurrection of Monstress Figure - Set of 7 - Resurrection Of Monstress Figures

Even better, since Koto has the Capcom license, Darkstalkers statues would be perfect! They would look great next to their Street Fighter peers, they have a HUGE cult following, a few have become well-known to the new generation of gamers due to Marvel Vs Capcom 3, AND they are monsters that already have a manga-inspired look! They would be PERFECT in the Bishoujo line !

I'm sure they're do the darkstalkers line only a matter of time...Felicia and Morrigan will probably be the first ones they make.

Snagged Yelena off of Ebay at a reasonable price IMO, since most people want 300 plus for her. Although not MISB, but she still looks good. Really tempted to get the SF characters since they only have 3 so far.

Hi all,
I can't say I'm actively collecting them, but I have a few Bishoujo statues, all being DC heroines (Catwoman, Batgirl, Huntress & Wonder Woman v.1) + 3 others pre-ordered (Psylocke v.2 wich is a bit late to come + Chun Li & Cammy).
I'm also planning to get the Jason & Freddy that were just revealed.
I'll try to post some pics of my statues later this week...
