New packaging, same toys. Yay...

This is why it's hard for me to even begin to get into this line. I just don't understand how this toy line survives with the constant re-releasing of the same stuff in new packaging.

Star Wars completionists are really everywhere. I know some peopel who buy every single release of every single figure. Repacks, variants, re-releases. You name it, they buy it. And with characters liek Darht Maul and Vader, people will continue to eat those up.

...and that's exactly why I don't collect them anymore. Sure, once in a while I will see something that sparks my interest, like battle damaged Darth Vader from last year, but it's just getting way out of hand. Great for completists, total crisis for general toy collectors.

<old man voice> Back in my day, we had ONE darth vader figure and WE LIKED IT! IT lasted 3 movies! Kids today.........(re: Kenner line)
