So I'm starting to get into Minimates a shade after reading up on them and thinking about picking up X-Force in that and as Squadies. Ironman's various also look highly tempting. Even the Green Lantern ones.

Haven't bought any yet, though I read the indepth review on deadpool and might pick him up too. I was curious what people thought of this line, favorite ones, and even a couple pics of the various ones you've got with how you display em. Essentially, help sell to me and others their greatness, or warn us of their drawbacks.

Also, when does series 32 come out?

I had my doubts about minimates at 1st but when they were sold at Target, I kept staring at them and eventually bought a set during a sale. I was blown away. Very fun to play with and highly collectable due to size and price. Articulation is just about right, swapping the numerous swappable parts are fun and these are much more fun to play with than Lego figures.

Drawbacks are that most details are printed on so try to avoid getting your figures scratched up. The paint does stand up well to handling so I haven't had much damage to the markings.

I finally got into Minimates this year. They are very fun little guys, and as Shin says, better than Lego minifigures.

In my opinion now is the best time to be into them... The detailing is just getting better over time from what I've seen, not to mention characters like Deadpool(my favorite minimate so far) are loaded with accesories.

My personal favorites other than Deadpool is the Iron Man MK.1 movie version and the TRU exclusive Bullseye. You can take off all the pieces and reveal a dirty and beat-up Stark underneath on the MKI.. It's just a really good set even though Rhodey is sort of a dud... And well, Bullseye is just cool period. His psycho face underneath his mask is entertaining.

Series 32 comes out end of the year. Like, literally, the 30th of December as of now. I can't wait for that series. I want the Yellowjacket and the Extremis + Titanium Man. Cable is a must as well... I digress.

I'm still looking for Moon Knight as well. Seems like all my favorite characters are coming out around the same time.

I can't stress how good this line is. Again, like Shin said, scratching paint is the worst thing that could happen really, and it hasn't happened to me yet. Go for it!

EDIT: I shouldn't forget about Ultron, or the Classic Avengers set(Hulk not pictured)... Too much mixing and matching for words. The Ant-Man has a particularly great sculpt for his helmet. Good times!!

I should add, I did encounter a stuck joint once which resulted in a broken knee joint on my Sandman figure. Being that the part in question was made out of translucent plastic, it might have been a factor in the breakage.

Hmm, okay. Well that's a risk with MU even, so I might take the dive. How are things like wolverine's claws and archangel's wings?

Ironman's on all of them look sweeeeeeeeeet.

Probably a silly question, but how do they look in scale to TFA or ROTF deluxes, human alliance?

Man, that Ultron's a must, just so SW secret wars ultron can have a mini me.

Has really helped too.

I collect minimates. Have been for about three years. I love them. Wished they made more DC ones but I'm digging a lot of the current Marvel ones.

I've been waiting for a Gambit and Psylocke for a while and glad they finally made them and as a set to boot. DC wise my favorite pack is Blue Beetle and Booster Gold.

Minimate Database
Has really helped too.
The Wolverines I've bought have nice, rigid claws. I don't have Archangel so I'll let someone else comment on that.

Scale-wise, Minimates just don't look right to me next to TF. They're probably the right height, but width-wise they seem too wide because of their blocky nature.

I almost sent you the link to that Minimates Database, but figured you had already been there.

Almost forgot about these! The only DC set I ever bought, and I guess the first Minimates I got. They are totally awesome.
