You know what a good deal it is...My wife even said she'd get it for my Christmas. She never gets me toys, so I must have been looking that desperate.

I would really, really want it, but the space is the huge issue. I know I'll be in trouble eventually (I don't think she realises of its size).

Please convince me!

Go for it man! Heck for that price I will buy one! Where is that ad from? I know I have been looking for one at a good price for a while now. I know one thing, you will not be sorry for buying this piece. I have seen it up close at a friends house and all I will say is....wow

Where is it on sale for 100?? That's a pretty good price. I definitely won't get the approval from wife, but still.

Good grief. 100 AUSTRALIAN Dollars?! That's a ridiculously good price.

Seriously, I paid US$150, and was ecstatic with what I got for my money. Your price is a no-brainer. And FTR, I was going to wait for a sale, but it was my wife who convinced me to buy it the first week of release. I took advantage of the wife greenlight -- so should you!

I am sorry I wasn't clear about where the bargain is. I am in Australia and this is a catalogue from TRU.

As of now AU$100 = US$65

Thanks for your encouragement I gathered enough nerve to ask the missus to get it for my Christmas and off she went...

...and didn't come back for hours...

It turned out that our nearest TRU (20 minutes away) had sold out the bargain MF, and she had to drive another 30 minutes to the next TRU.
But she's scored one for me!! (Love you honey!)

The problem is, by the time she came home with it, she was already a bit iffy about it being so huge, lol.

But it's mine, and I honestly thought it was one toy I'd never own even though it's within my reach (unlike, say, Raiden, who is way out of my reach.)

I dont know why I didnt put 2 and 2 together and realized that it was AUS and not the American dollar. $65 is even better!

I would. The main things holding me back are the price and space. I really like the BMF. Although mine would be soon overrun with clones looking to jack Han's ride.

There was a time when our dollars were almost equal, but I need to stop bitching about it in every post I make...

MF is going to be wrapped up tomorrow, so I'll go and take another look at it

edit; SPLIT LIP, yeah, we've got more Clones and Stormies, too. I think I still have to get ep4 Luke and Leia for the MF.

Yeah, I'm glad you explained the whole different country thing. Because I was going to say "Save $150?! So it's $10?!". Hehe.

But $65 is a damn good deal. Glad you're going to get to open it on Christmas.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it If space is really an issue maybe you can sell off some other stuff. It gets easier once you just decide to go for it.

It was $250 here at first Doesn't look like many people were biting with that price tag.
And yeah, I don't think I'd looked forward to Christmas like this for a long time

I do have a couple of larger stuff I want to get rid of, such as Reissue Battle Convoy. Just can't be bothered with eBay
My younger son already offered me his bedroom floor for MF, nice try, kiddo!

Do you know if that's an Australia-wide sale SydneyY? I would finally get one if it was only $100.

I've just checked the catalogue and it lists the location of all TRUs nationwide, so I assume this is available anywhere in Australia. While the stocks last, so be quick!
(Mine came from TRU Liverpool/NSW and they apparently had quite a few yesterday )

Oh I know. I often go to the room where the now-wrapped-up MF is, and sigh a happy, content sigh. I still can't believe it's there.

Looks like she's actually going to my younger son's room. So now the kid is just as excited as me! I'll have to borrow his Obi-wan figure anyway.

Man I wish I could get one of these. Of course Money is tight right now, but If I catch a good sale after the new year, it's on like Donkey Kong.
