LEGO Helicarrier Marvel Super Heroes 76042

Looks like we will be getting this in March right before Age of Ultron.

I would hope so but nobody officially knows at this time. I'm hoping they show this set off at Toy Fair 2015 in Feb.

Crap. I've got to say that I'm disappointed with the official Lego version. It looks so short and fat. Should have added a bunch of smooth pieces too to hide all those pegs. All the pegs really reduce the look and feel. Not sure why, but it seems to impact this design more than others. I thought the Star Destroyer was fantastic and it's covered in pegs. This looks like it needs a lot more polish.

Wow, I really want the micro minifigures it comes with. Well, I want the whole set, but its too big and too expensive for me. But if I could buy a polybag with some micro Quinjets and tiny Avengers, I'd take two.

Ditto, those micro figures are pretty damn awesome.

I think I might have found my big toy purchase for this year though. This is one of those sets that just looks too fun to not try and acquire.

Is this the first Maria Hill minifigure we've gotten too? Cause I definitely want her.

I agree this is a stunted version of the LEGO ideas version. I'm going to pass on this, it's just not up to the quality that I expected especially for the price tag. The reason why the Star Destroyer was dead on is because Lucas approved everything and it needed to look exactly like the Movie versions. I guess Marvel didn't care and gave LEGO freedom over the final design. Really let down by the final product.

The only reason I'm passing is the price.
