Ok I admit it, I had a bunch of Care Bears growing up and I'm not ashamed of it. I had a few of The bigger stuffed ones and the smaller stuffed ones too.

Come to think of it I actually had a lot of the mini figures and playsets too. I think they were a plesant distraction from the rougher toys, or at least my mother seemed to think so. You know rather then He-man and the Masters destroying the living room, the bears were nice and calm living in Care-Alot and flying around in the cloud cars. Plus I guess the urge to destroy was less when the bears were out to play

It's amazing they have lasted so many years and are currently haveing their 25th anniversary. Itr's silly but still seeing the bears around still brings a smile to my face.

The Wikipedia article is actually pretty interesting too
Care Bears - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

What do you guys think?

I never had any of the toys, but I remember seeing the cartoon on Saturday mornings.

The cartoon was cute. We used to think the cloud keeper was a pimp

I was a Care Bear fan...and I loved Care Cousins too - My favorite Braveheart the Lion. Hey, remember Wuzzles? I had the purple Elephant with the pink wings. Ah, memories.

Sadly I can kinda remember the songs from the Wuzzles commercials.

But the cousins weren't as cool as the bears, that's why the Care Bears purified them from care-a-lot (see the robot chicken clip on adult swim to see what I'm talking about)

You had a bunch of Care Bears? Man, they're all over my house!
My sister used to collect them when she was young, and in the last few years started back up again with the 6" plushies. Because of that, it spilled over to my wife and shortly after, my daughter. My daughter's room is "Care Bear" themed, with all kinds of CB toys and stuff everywhere. Her frickin' room is Care-A-Lot!

....

*eyes TF and G.I.Joe collections*

...not that I'm complaining, mind you.

Actually, my favorite CB was Good Luck Bear (Erin go braugh!). I used to watch the show on Saturday mornings, along with all the other 80's hits of the day.

Yeah I had some of the larger ones back in the day. A few years ago for my birthday an ex gave me A beanie Good Luck bear and a Birthday bear. Like I said, I have no problems with the bears.

I never had a CB but they were cool. I used to buy my girlfriend at the time, a ton of these when they came back out in 03. I also purchased a few for the little one when I had her. I still have stickers in the car that she put up. I have not had the heart or strength to remove them.

I never had any original Care Bears back when they were new but when they made the big comeback I got a couple and still have a few of the smaller sized stuffed ones hanging on my bedroom wall.

YES! He was my favorite too, then Grumpy Bear.

I didn't really have any of the toys but I had the vhs where Grumpy Bear dressed up like the phantom... It scared the ever-loving shit out of me!

The "theme" of my very first room when my parents brought me home from the hospital was Care Bears

I believe they thought I was going to be a girl though, lulz, but I don't think it really mattered either way

Nah, Care Bears are pretty much gender neutral, especially with the recent trend of guys wearing pink these days.
