Considering how popular minifig blind bags are (especially MegaBloks' Marvel ones before Lego got the license), I could easily see it happen. Maybe Lego has decided that the Marvel/DC minifigs alone aren't enough to push the sales of the sets like they do with Star Wars (Kre-O has pretty much come to the same conclusion with Transformers). And because of that, Lego might be downsizing the line(s) to blind bags. Well, at least until the next Marvel and/or DC movie.

I understand why they are doing it. Think about it 49.99 or 3.99 and you could get a Hero or Villain from DC or Marvel.

Watch-out LEGO! Yet another high quality set is moving in on your market! and this set may cost CHEAP, but the blocks are very well made.

poseable

Very MECHWARRIOR looking...more are available:

I plan to get them all...again and again. $3? how can you NOT get them all...several times...

Looks like the kind of robots I used to build with my tub of Lego bricks. Of course, that was long before Lego decided to make almost everything be part of a set of some sort.

Well, I'm testing the waters of Bootlegos right now.

Wow would love to get my hands on that set. It's becoming hard to find sets that come with a good old fashion base.

Hope this is made.

Star Destroyer Mech (MicroFighters can now FIGHT) This was just a quick mash-up. I built the Mixel just to say I did it, and then mixed it with the Star Destroyer
I took this pack

#lego #starwars #starwarslego these are some of my favorite non-main characters in Star Wars! I just like the way their helmets look in their overall look by SacredKnightOfTomorrow, on Flickr
I love this set! I built it this morning. The gun reminds me of the gun at the top of the Kenner Death Star Station Playset from the 1970s. What I love more are the figures! The Helmets are spot-on cool! And I love these non-main characters
The helmets are spot on! #starwars #starwarslego #lego by SacredKnightOfTomorrow, on Flickr

Does anybody know alternative to Lego? Their designs are perfect...it's out of the question. But unfortunately too expensive for me.

The bootleg/knockoff versions from china are great quality and very very inexpensive, search ebay for "building toys".
