While I understand that the intent was to flatter, the act of posting other people's pictures is unsettling. Especially, if it's done without the photographer's knowledge and consent. I know this phenomenon is fairly ubiquitous on the internet, but many amateur and professional photographers put a lot of time and effort into what they shoot and plagiarism (not exactly the case here, but uncomfortably close) functions as a real deterrent for some individuals. We live in a digital age where the goal for many posters of media (photos, videos, and news) is to go viral. However, that's not the goal of everyone. For some, there is an expectation (regardless of how silly this might be given the reality of the web) of control over where and when their content is shared. I'm not attempting to speak for whomever originally took these pictures, I don't know them (I don't even have their screen-names). Instead, I'm speaking from my personal perspective as someone who places a premium on respecting the artistic expressions of others.

Please don't take this as me putting people on blast, I'm just presenting a perspective. Plus, let's keep in mind the theme established by the OP of this thread:

I absolutely respect and admire the people who bring effort and post photos posing their figures it's always inspired me one day to do the same. I mean no harm. I know it's not directed toward me but people in general who have done it, including me. I feel like photos unless private is more than often than not public domain I could give credit of course if I could track it down, I could always do that. But I understand.

Make "one day" today! We'd all love to see your toy photography. Do it for yourself, it's good therapy.
One positive to come from posting someone else's photos is you've shown me that while I really like that new Groot head sculpt, I think I'm okay with the current BAF one I own.

Aww thank you! I could definitely see that therapeutic and fun! I have to play the waiting game on some of the upcoming figures to release just dying to take pics of. I love your photos! Very clever what you do with Groot! And the Transformer pic is adorable I always wanted to complete Groot as a BAF. And after seeing the exclusive I also really like that headsculpt. I don't know how you amazing people do it XD

I appreciate seeing COOL STUFF as the title of the thread implies, regardless of the source. Though many of us choose to post our own original work, never did I feel this thread should isolate images/shots/photos that were not produced in that manner.
I respect most people's opinions and understand the passion they have for their hobby/craft...and I'm sure they understand that there is no rule the masses need reciprocate that position.

all i wanna see is pics of some kick ass toys....

Two days ago this woman comes in my office yesterday and we're chatting..and her eyes focus in on something up on a ledge..and she says..."well that's cool, I like it, what is it"
I had to explain to her how this generous soul donated this interesting looking action figure to me after I commented on it on a chat board about action figures. She said that was nice.
Yesterday when I was speaking to her about something (i'm support) she interjects with "..were you too busy searching the internet for toys"
