I recently learned that NECA changed the paint job of their Godzilla 62 when they rereleased it with the packaging that had the peghook as a piece of the cardboard box rather than a clear plastic version glue to it. As such, I grabbed this new version as not only does the paint job look more accurate to the film (the previous release had a slight green gloss that was slathered over the skin tone a bit), but the joints seem a bit looser in order to move his body around. In fact, I still can't get the leg joints to extend out on the older one like I can with the new one and I'm not sure why. Either way, I have taken some pictures comparing the two, though for some reason my camera is not able to capture the differences as well as I was hoping it would. I tried it both without the flash on and with the flash on for a few shots. Hopefully you can see something different. Oh, the new one is the one with the opened mouth while the old one is closed.

Got a few things to share from the past month or three.

First off, I went ahead and nabbed the ThreeZero Donatello. The two recent live-action movies don't do much for me, but I always liked the design for Donnie, even though it's hacky and on-the-nose.

I traded him to a friend shortly afterward; I just wanted to photograph him once or twice.

Next, I got the NECA Robocop vs. Terminator set just for the robot dog, so's Donatello could have a pet:

I want to get a wolf for Leo and a chihuahua for Mikey, but I doubt I'll ever get around to it.

A friend gave me the Marvel Legends Korg, so I repurchased McFarlane's Total Chaos Quartz and paired them up to serve as Tragg and Granitor:

They don't scale as well with the NECA movie figures as I'd like, but I still like how they look together.

This is the third time I've owned Quartz, and I also just bought McFarlane's Heap for the second time, once again to use as Muckman:
