Those are the SMPs as well like the Dairen-Oh I posted last week.
Here are some pictures I forgot to post earlier in the month: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here those two are with the SOC version: ![]() ![]() ![]() and a comparison with the Hasbro retro versions: ![]() ![]() ![]()

I love the mega dragonzord. I really feel that combo was vastly underused. Its definitely the better looking of the two zord combos. Im sad hasbro killed the lightning collection. They shouldnt buy up properties they arent gonna use long term.

You could tell in the last 2 years that the line became an after thought for Hasbro. Perhaps they thought they brand would sell better than it did. Or maybe they underestimated how toxic the fanbase can be. Either way, they dropped the ball big time when it came to accessories, consistency, and paint apps. I am not a model kit fan. I hate putting my toys together and dealing with stickers (or having to paint some details myself as my paint skills suck). However, the SMPs are the only way to get fully posseable 6inch mechs, something I thought was going to be a given from Hasbro. Hell, all they would have had to do was release 6inch fully posseable mechs that were suit accurate in design even if they weren't combinable, and I would have been happy. The Retro line was kind of a step in the right direction, but they lacked the posseability and paint apps. They could have easily done VS packs. Megazord vs Knasty Knight, Thunder Megazord vs Lipsyncher, Ninja Megazord vs Hatemaster, Zeo Megazord vs Silo, SPD Megazord vs Mirlock, and so on. And then there was the scale issue with the monsters on top of the inability to complete teams. I can forgive them for King Sphinx and Pumpkin Rapper being oversized, and maybe even Eyeguy given he would have been in production at the time. After that though, they should have licensed to the fans and scaled them back. Heck, I was pretty sure they had mentioned they were fixing the monster line's scale when they revealed Piranhtis Head as they made a pun out of it, but clearly they did not. PHead and Snizzard were still oversized and it seems like the Minotaur is too (have not bought him yet, waiting for him to be like $15). Anyway, now having the Kakuranger and Zyuranger mechs in SMP form, along with Dairen-Oh, and loving them, this is going to be my go to line for Sentai mecha until something better comes along in the 6inch scale. Super excited for the Megaranger reissues and I hope the ones from GoGoFive aren't too far behind. Maybe they can do Gingaman and Timeranger sooner rather than later too. As for teams, the Shodo is also my go to line and I'll tell you, the Shodos go quite nicely with the SMPS. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I seriously need to pick that one up. What type of lamp are you using to shine through the windows and door?

They're good lights, modular, water proof with a decent warranty. But if you want to get those light beams through the windows, you don't NEED that. You just need to focus the light so its coming through as a narrow funnel to begin with. You can get that effect with a small but bright desk lamp and like a cardboard tube to direct it. Basically if the light is already spreading out before it gets to that window, its probably not going to give you that look. And then you need to make it visible. Which I spray canned fog to do so.
