Don't know how tall it is but that looks like a third party Megatron using his stealth bomber mode from the comics.

Generation toys’ Tyrant, an IDW Megatron. I believe he’s a little over 9” tall.

Much better. It wasn't difficult to build (lots of tiny pieces- but the instructions are easy to follow) He has decent articulation and is very light- making him easy to stand or even put on flight stands for jumping. The scale is spot-on with the black series as well. (There is a Figuarts version coming eventually, but they tend to downsize larger characters -Vader, Chewie, and Qui-Gon all look small when put next to their cheap Hasbro counterparts, I'm thinking Grievous may end up the same- but I plan on getting him anyways) I'm one of the few people that actuallu like the die-cast Elite figure but I did have to glue him to a stand and affix his sabers in hand... and tighten his joints... The model kit is a much better choice for Grievous.

Thanks! It got something of a dud reaction elsewhere, so I appreciate it!
And might I say your crystal-clear, dynamic portraits of frighteningly expensive-looking toys I've otherwise never seen are gorgeous and dangerous. |
