Its on its last season.....and no its not very good. Theres a character or two who is interesting at times but wwwwwaaaaaayyyyyyy too many liberties taken so unless this is suppposed to be an elseworlds non cannonical universe.....youre beetter off watching dancing with the hasbeens.

What shall I say to that. I like it, obviously. I think it has great actors and great characters. I like it way better than the (for me) similar "Arrow", which I loved in the beginning but then over the years just got worse and worse and just has not as good actors (with exceptions but the best got killed off). All in my opinion.

There is only one way for you to find out whether you'll like it or not tgbobafett. Just try it out. Then you'll see for yourself. If it isn't for you then it isn't and you can move on. But give it a chance. I think the pilot introduces everyone very nicely. We have come over the years far away from a realistic police show to something more crazy comic like (the fans wanted it) but I still adore the whole look of it.

Anyway, we're close to the end of my little countdown!

Been enjoying the countdown- I dig Gotham- though I'm a bit behind on it. Growing up a massive DC fan I can roll immediately into any "ElseWorlds" Multiverse they throw at us. I love Gotham,the CW shows (most of them an anyways), The Movieverse, and wherever the DCOnline-verse falls... and any one of them is just one Flash jaunt away from the other...

Season 1 was when we still had the Mafia bosses
Season 2 was with the Court of Owls and Azrael.

Thank you for chiming in! When I was younger I was more of a Superman girl (adored "Lois & Clark" which doesn't take the hero bit too seriously and concentrated on the relationship). I did like the Bruce Wayne / Alfred stuff of the Batman universe, but other things were too dark and crazy for my liking.

Other than that I did not know much of the DC universe, I only started to watch "Arrow" because of John Barrowman. Malcolm Merlyn was great in the first season but then they screwed his character up. I also loved how Oliver was special in season 1 but the more it became Team Arrow with more Superheroes fighting the more shallow I found it and stopped watching after Merlyn was killed off. I also stopped watching "The Flash" after season 2 as it did not all interest me anymore.

When I came to "Gotham" I found it refreshing to see actual gun shooting for a change and more real action. I had become tired of the Arrow/Flash fighting styles. They just stood there and hit each other in rapid fashion and you see it's all choreographed. How real the Alfred fights look in comparison when he gets thrown around. As if they really hurt.

I know the show got lots of flak when it started (I read all the old threads, I was two years behind) saying the Bruce/Alfred relationship is not the one we know. Well, of course it isn't, it has to get there yet! All those early critisizers have started to see this later.

Anyway, have some Arrow pictures from when it was still good and I still loved it!
