Full article and gallery for the Flame Toys Kuro Kara Kuri 03 Star Saber is up on Kuma Style;

Article breaks it down in full but overall this one got the big 10/10 because frankly it went above and beyond on all accounts. Someone can say things like they'd prefer it transform but that's a non factor because it's not meant to and the things that it was made to do it excels at. I don't think there will ever be a more "perfect" homage to the IDW version of Star Saber in my lifetime, even.

Here are some pics from the gallery portion;

I have been looking for Christmas sweaters for years. Yesterday I found these tree ornaments. But there was only one sweater pattern so I bought the two socks as well, and today I cut out and sewed on different patterns so Kirk, Spock and McCoy all would have slightly different sweaters. All while listening to Christmas songs by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Seth MacFarlane. Lovely afternoon!

I have some leftovers which I will keep, I could make pillows or something for the sofa.

Love it! I'm working on my "Xmas Special" photo spread as well... Hopefully done this weekend.

Thank you! Nice getting into the spirit, I'm looking forward to yours!

It's getting cold, Alfred is starting a fire in the stove.

And the Star Trek team tries new ways. I found this igloo in a shop today as well as the sheet of "snow" (cotton wool)

For the first time this week, I actually had good luck with something. My Target still had the other 2 64s instock so I was able to get one that did NOT have two left upper arms. With that said, I am quite impressed with this figure. In fact, it might be my favorite Godzilla figure to date. He looks as menacing as he does in the movie and the articulation is nearly identical to that of the MonsterArts minus the weird triangular cuts on the side and I can move the body back far enough to close the spine gappage if I want to. Though, I must admit, the gappage doesn't bother me as much as it does on the MonsterArt, but that could just be because as I said, I can close it if I so desire. The tail is fantastic and there is so much detail put into the dude. I wish NECA would redo the 54 Godzilla entirely. Of course, I also wish NECA would at least give us a Mothra to go with him, but the 92 MonsterArts version will have to do (and the small ass Revoltech version). The pictures NECA has released for this guy online and in the box do not do him justice at all.

Oh, and I finally took some pictures of Godzilla 62 that I never got around to doing earlier in the year.

"I don't think this will fit, Mr. Spock!"

(I bought a Christmas decoration, a star with LED, just to get this bag, as the battery box was hidden in it. I gave the star away)

We all know how the Original Trilogy ends, but in an alternate reality, Vader raises Luke...
"Dadda! Santa brought me a lightsaber just like yours!"
Vader: "Careful son, Your mother thinks you'll cut your arm off."

Deadpool: "Where he at
Where he at
Where he at
Where he at? It's peanut butter jelly time!"

Blurr: "Yougettasnowball..hahagotyoutoo...where'sUltramag nus?Igottaoneforhimtoo"

Three samples. The rest, including a grisly murder of an Elf on the Shelf, gotta visit the blog. Happy holidays!

Indeed. Bandai doing this one was definitely a surprise to me. I'm still floored even having it in hand.
