Trying to take the Bucky Captain body and add some Ultimate Captain legs.

Any tips on the paint, brushed, sandpaper or whatever else I could use to get the job done right. I know this is small time for some of you custom guys but I'm new to customizing and could use some tips.

I am not sure exactly what you mean? Are you just swapping the legs one for one OR are you switching just part of the legs?

If you are just scapping the legs (easiest method) i would find a metalic black paint and use that to paint the legs from the Ultimate Cap and the hips from the Bucky Cap so they were the same color (remember to go over this with light coats so you do not get build up.

A lof of this is trial and error and finding a way that works for you. When I changed out the legs, i used the thighs from Ronnin (they were similar color and if the paint chipped it would not show as much) and the lower leg from Ultimate Cap (painted black). I then took the torso and cracked it. I used the hips and abdomen from Ulitmate Cap with the upper torso of Bucky Cap (painting over the stripes on the abdomen with black working in the 'V' look that Bucky has). Once this was completed that figure was a taller figure on par with the regular Cap figures and not short like Logan...
