Lone Coconut: Plunderlings, Plunderlongs, Plunderstrongs

There does not appear to be a thread for the various Lone Coconut Plunder people so I decided to create one. I am curious if there are other fans on the Ark.

Also, for anyone interested, the Abyss exclusive is currently available for pre-order on BBTS.

Plunderlings are actually my favorite toy line and the only line I collect that I have no problem paying their prices for!

It is absolutely my favorite line as well. I am so jealous that you have the originals. I did not find the line in time to get some of them.

Hell yes I'm a fan. Many a time, more than specific properties, I'm a fan of just cool and fun action figures. These are that to a tee. Granted I like to keep my collection in a general 6-7 inch scale so anything that can interact within those parameters is fair game. I have the Arctic Drench and the red fawn right now. But I went in on the kickstarter for the Plunderlong and Plunderstrong so I'm really eager for those to come out.

Welcome to the thread! Glad to see some more Plunder fans here. I also went in on the Plunderlong and Plunderstrong KS. I am really hoping Lone Coconut rereleases the original KS Plunderlings after it fulfills. The Drench exclusives are probably a lost cause but I would love to snag the Berserkers, Cursed, and Raiders that I do not currently own.

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed this or not, but when the Abyss sale was delayed on Monday they sent out this pic as a KS update.

The thing that is interesting is only 6 Plunderstrongs were unlocked through the KS so the Fawn and Tinker Strongs are guaranteed to see a release at some point!

I believe I started out at $100 as well. Ended up negotiating to $115. Still surprised I paid that but this is my favorite line.

I regret not just paying the $120 now that it is gone lol

Knowing it went to someone as passionate about the line is a strange silver lining, so all is as it should be!

I miss your random shoots...

I highly recommend picking a color and grabbing one. They have great accessories and near perfect balance. So much personality and fit in with damn near any 1/12 collection. Very few other collectibles bring me the joy these do. I can't put my finger on why, but I can say they are a ton of fun!

Smart, you are getting more for your money. This will sound stupid to most, but my love for Marvel comics and Legends has me holding out hope that they will course correct despite the years of predictable decline. I’ve been complaining about quality, canonical details, reuse and character choices since that first year they announced more Marvel Legends than ever before would be released.

Too many unethical issues with Hasbro lately for me to continue supporting them. Also, with their price hikes, they are in line with the price of (what I consider) better figures, like these, so it was an easy choice for me.

Fair warning, the translucent figures are part of the Drench group which are all exclusives. A few are still available right now through either BBTS or eBay but they carry a higher pricetag.

Teel was the first Plunderling I knew I had to have. I had planned to build a scale Pirate ship prior to finding the ones I am using. He was always meant to be the Captain in my display.
