That's an awesome and cool story how you bought him, and even cooler that the toy hunter is after him. Do you have the Nked Cheetah i have always wanted her?? Dc universe/Dc superheroes is also my favorite Toyline so when i saw that you had that Red tornado i was surprised because i never even knew he existed I wouldn't sell that figure either! Your one lucky guy to have found and purchased him. So what is your favorite Dc universe action figure?
P.S. That 2nd Superman (thick eyebrows) was a never released face mold. That Etrigan, he was the first card that was tested to see if the multi-language cards would work (they never did so it was never released), plus...look as his mouth, it's a black lip outline...never released like that. Check out the small pics I left on the bottom of this post (the ones I didn't enlarge), you'll see some crazy variants... Believe it or not...these 4 Batman figs (3 from DCSH 1 from DCU) are my favorite figs. |

Arrival!
![]() ![]() Harley's a decent fig. Nice sculpting and lettering and some very intricate details. The only major downside I see is that it looks like the lettering on her back rubbed off or wasn't finished and thus just says "Propert of Joke". She also comes with a baseball bat that says "Goodnight". Not sure I'd've paid $10 for her in a store (maybe like $7 or something) but considering that I paid around that for each of the Arrow/Flash figs maybe I would have. Joker's pretty terrible tbh even for a turd of a design like his. Looks nothing like him in the face, the tats look very stencyled on and not tattoo-like, he's not pale enough, and the coat is atrocious. It's sculpted as part of his chest and then below the hips it just... hangs there... with joints so his legs can move. Also he seems to have bat symbols all over thighhigh boots which I have seen in zero pictures of the character. He also does not come with a weapon. ![]()

Curiosity finally took over and I picked up my first Halo figure by Mattel, none other than the Chief.
![]() I really didn't know what to expect at first, but I have to say, I'm honestly impressed! I didn't think Mattel could match Mcfarlane one bit, but not only have they matched them, but I think they've already beaten them as Master Chief here very easily ranks in my top 5 figure purchases that I've picked up this year. Say what you want about not having finer paint details like a wash (which can easily be added yourself,) but with the removable armor, poseability, price point (for the interchangeable parts and the figure itself, 20 dollars is an awesome price point) not to mention the fun factor, this guy puts Mcfarlane's line to shame. That's coming from someone who's not even a huge fan of the game (I haven't played a Halo game since Reach...) Seeing this makes me wonder if Mattel cares at all about their DC Multiverse figures, because honestly, THIS is how good it could be. ![]() ![]() ![]() "My name...is Horace!" |

I think Mattel is really off to a good start with these. They're not perfect, and there's still room for improvement (some of the armor pieces are difficult to get on, and since they peg into the figure rather snugly, it is possible to stress and break those pegs off, and the joints are a little more loose than I'd like them to be,) but few new lines of toys ever get it entirely right, especially with those first waves. I'm not going to go absolutely crazy into these, as I said, I'm not a huge fan of the game in general and I thought the figure looked neat, so I said why not. I now have a (slightly undersized) Master Chief I could insert into my 6" collection (he'll be joining my Guardians of the Galaxy very soon,) and works well enough with most of the MCU Marvel Legends. If they make certain armor types such as the JFO, ODST, or the Hazops in rust or orange, I'll definitely be picking up a few more of these in the future. I'm really tempted to get the Elite that comes with the Ghost just so I can get my hands on that vehicle, as it looks sweet. Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 07-11-2016 at 10:49 PM.. |

Man your collection is the best i have ever seen. I figured you had Naked Cheetah she is one of my biggest wants, those batman are excellent i have the Blue one and Knight Shadow i need to find that Black outfit one! That Etrigan looks so cool with that Black lip liner! I really like the Wave 16 Riddler and Metamorpho are probably in my top 5 favorite Dc universe.
If you would've just held on to her a bit longer...now she's going for no less that 300 bucks average. |

Nice pics, the Chief looks great. I will be trying to hunt him down and the 6" Scaled Ghost with Elite (does anyone have any pics of that?). Hopefully Mattel goes all out with this line as I would love to get some Grunts, Brutes, a Warthog, Johnson, Cortana.... lots of figures could be made.

Is that the one on the left from the Batman Bat girl 2 pack? I picked that one up and I think its in my top 3 favorites. The other two being the Neca 89 Bats, and the one 12 Dark Knight.
