Aw man, I hate to admit to this, because after all of those discount Star Wars items I posted, I hate to look like some cheap bastard, lol, but I got him at Ross, for like $12.
I had only seen him like once before that at Target, but passed, hoping to get him a little later, but then I never saw him again. I was pleasantly surprised, and a little shocked, see him at a discount retailer.

Like I mentioned in my last post, Transformers are tough to find in my area for some reason, so I'm always excited to actually find the ones I'm looking for. I think the stores here over-order the movie, and now Robots in Disguise, stuff but neglect the Generations line.
For instance, I've only seen Ultra Magnus once, haven't seen Powermaster Prime yet, and over the past couple years only saw Chromia and Arcree maybe twice, Jhiaxus once, and Windblade only once as well

I've never seen Skylynx in regular stores, so I was shocked to find him at Ross as well. I think the Skylynx wave suffered the same "last of the line" syndrome from Hasbro. Where as the last of the "Combiner Wars" line ever made it fully into stores before the next wave of "Headmasters"...eh, I mean "Titan Returns" started to flood stores.

Nothing wrong with that at all! Great way to save and good that you were able to get him from there.

Haha yeah "headmasters" Actually the limbs did a good job of getting out there before the last line, it was just the voyagers/torso that sort of had an issue cause of the Motormaster mold being thrown in there with the fixed hip issue.

What killed it for me is the weird moth like head. Other than that it's pretty damn awesome but I do see the ben10 like quality but that's what makes him fun too

I can see where you're coming from, but I still love the figure. My only gripe about it isn't about the figure, but about the suit in general. I wish it was black. I don't mind it too much, but it doesn't feel a lot like Batman.

Thanks again! It really is an awesome figure. It's my first BAF/CAC in general, so it's fun to play around with the articulation.

The problem with that justice buster is, nothing really says its batman other than the bat symbol.

This should been the justice buster

Both need a cape I don't care if it makes no sense or comic accurate unless it's the beyond suit a cape is necessary

With Hasbro's unpredictable distribution of Transformers over the past few years, discount stores like Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshall's really have been a goldmine for Transformers.

A few years ago, I had been excited about the Reveal the Shield wave, but was disappointed that they never really hit stores, and then, shockingly, they all showed up at my local Ross and Marshall's for ridiculously low prices. I'm still kicking myself for never picking up Jazz.

Then, during the Prime era, I was able to pad my collection with inexpensive Deluxe figures (including the First Edition versions of Arcee and Bumblebee for under $8 ), and even found some of the tougher to find Voyagers class figures for less than half of what I would have payed at Target or TRU if those stores had actually stocked them.

Recently, I found Sky Byte and Brainstorm for about $12. Before that, I had only seen Brainstorm on one occasion, at Target.

I know exactly what you mean, I was tempted to do the same.
I opted for the set that had more going for it overall, but it was tough.
That Blurr may be among the nicest-looking robots I own.

Had a few treats delivered this week.

I really like Ahsoka. She is the only female figure I have ever bought, and is totally worth it.

Got the Arkham Origins collectors edition for a pretty good price, and I wanted to get the statue to compliment my poster that I got signed by Troy Baker last week.

Last, but certainly not least - Star Wars Unleashed Maul and Sidious. These things are incredible, and I have no idea why I never bought them when they were first released a decade ago. I want to add more of these to my collection.

You mean like just in the Star Wars 6" line, right?

Nope, across all the lines that I collect. I do have two or three female figures that came in multi packs, but those either went straight into the fodder box, or are still in the actual box haha.

Ahsoka is the only female figure I intentionally paid money for. I'm not much of a female figure collector. No offense to everyone else, but as a man, I think it's weird to have toys that are female. Just my opinion.

Wow, that's not an attitude I come across often among collectors in 2016. It is a little bit baffling, and it's probably okay to like them given that roughly half our planet consists of women. So long as you're not grooming them, your masculinity is very likely safe and intact.

I respect your stance and to each his own! They're your toys. It's simply surprising to me that it still happens.

Anyway, here's another recent acquisition of mine:

Okay. Ahsoka is a great figure, I really like having one. I guess personally I couldn't fathom not having any female figures because there are female characters I like too much to not get the figures. Ripley from Aliens, different Marvel and DC heroes or villains, etc.

Didn't he state his reasoning? He said that it felt weird. I own a few female figures but not many. I'm not averse to getting them if I like them, but I don't generally gravitate towards female heroes.

This weeks haul. More army builders.
Motorcycle is for my Ghost Rider. Same one as Spirit of Vengeance. Needs a repaint and a little custom work on it.
