The "Look At What I Just Got!" Thread

To my surprise I found the new Megatron at Walmart last night. I passed on the recent-ish leader size Megatron because I didn't feel like spending $50 for it when there are Decepticons I prefer. This one is actually pretty good and I'm impressed considering my expectations weren't high. While his jet mode is great (albeit with a very chunky undercarriage) his tank I find awkward because panels keep popping open and I'm not quite sure if I'm transforming him right. I knew from the moment Hasbro revealed this toy it would be reused for Blitzwing because it was obvious that's who the body was created for so I've included the most recent Blitzwing in my pics for comparison purposes.

Basic. Imagine if they were Legacy and had their weapons? The backlash would be morphenomenal (more so than the ugly metallic Legacy ones coming with the weapons and corrected belts).

Picked up a couple of the new ML X-Wave today-
Polaris and Dazzler

Shatterstar

I have the whole wave coming so I left behind the lone Shiro- he'll end up with the classic X-Team Dazzler and Polaris ended up on. Warlock will go New Mutants/X-Force, Logan goes to the the Marvel Now shelf, Cyclops to the 90's X-Men and Colossus... probably the garage bins.heh.

Leia isn't as bad as I feared, the headsculpt is still quite poor but I can live with it at least until my 40th Anniversary reissue arrives.
I already have the rest of the wave in one form or another, I now have a squad of three snowtroopers. The AT-AT driver will probably go on eBay because I already have two. Ben is going on the shelf so I can keep SDCC Ben in his packaging.

1. Is the 40th Leia supposed to be different?

2. My shelfs are clogged with Jynn, Cassian, Krennick, and C3PO that these will never come out to my stores. Hell, my Walmart has 24 Jynns alone.

Well, at least I managed to find half of the wave...

I want to jump for joy, but I still have to preorder it at BBTS when it goes up since I'm never going to find Cyclops, Colossus, and Shatterstar.

oh no , that's not good .. sorry that you had a bad run on the figures. My kid's starlord's foot fronm the vol 2 set was so wobbly he is afraid to move it , something has to be said for quality control

Got a pretty good deal on the Marvel Legends Iron Man Helmet prop replicas. 40 bucks a piece, could not pass that up. I was going to get one at full price but two for 80... oh yeah.

Also picked up S.H. Figuarts Black Widow for 70 bucks, great deal considering she goes for over a 100 now. Also got Figuarts Mark 43 for 60 and Tony Stark for 50. Darkhorse Halo Infinite replica for 27.

Went out to my local Target today looking to maybe find some new Marvel legends but instead I got the Black Series Boba Fett and Boushh helmet set. Both my Walmart and TRU have totally stopped carrying these helmet packs and any other store that hadn't was just choking on the first two sets so finding this was a nice surprise. My only gripe is that Boba Fett's antenna is made of a soft plastic so it can warp a bit. Still though it is Boba Fett's helmet so it's still great and then I've always liked Leia's Boushh helmet, it's just a good design I think that feels very alien in nature even though a human wears it.

You will not believe what I found at my Walgreens this week on Wednesday!!

Yup, they had a $9.99 clearance sticker on both!!
It's shame I didn't catch the rest of the waive for that price, they were the only ones there for that price.
I had to look around cuz they were with the "clearance" items, so... I kept looking for the other figures, but they were obviously not there. So, someone made off w/ a steal w/ Angela and Nova if they were priced like these were!
Anyway, I was kinda, "meh" on Starlord until I noticed his "blaster" has more paint decor than the last one.

The guy at the counter wasn't gonna give it to me at the price cuz he knew the movie wasn't out yet... But when the manager came over, some one who cares less, simply said, "give it to him for the marked price" BAM! It was ringing up full price, 19.98 or something.
