Had the chance to pick this set up tonight locally. I'll try to get some comparison pics done tomorrow with the the series one versions.

My first impressions of this set are good. They do feel like they are made from better plastic than the originals, and the fleshtone plastic looks far better than the painted skin of the originals. The only negative I see are the eyes are not painted the best (all the ones I saw at the store had at eye issues). I will try to touch them up tomorrow. I will say that the eyes are not nearly as bad as they were with the original releases. Do watch the paint on these. One set had Hudson's name printed way off center on the armor. Another big difference I see is the material used for the straps on the accessories. It is very flexible and almost gummy feeling. I may try replacing them like I did with Ripley's weapons.

I's say overall these are a vast improvement and if you missed the originals than this set is for you.

Had no idea these were out yet, gonna have to go on a hunt this week.

I managed to get this online for less than a NECA figure costs at Australian retail. I'm sick of the Arkham series looks for this character but this was too nice a figure to pass up.

Be careful with her. My 7 inch Ledger Joker figure is very fragile and still needs to be heated with warm water or blowdryer before you can move any of his joints. With that in mind, I heated up this Harley because her ankle joints were stuck and I couldn't get her to stand. The hot water freed up her ankles but now they are so loose that she can't stand without a doll stand. She looks amazing but she's so frustrating and I'm not very happy with it.

Thanks, I'll be careful with her. I'm not disappointed but the figure is a bit frustrating. She looks amazing but I'm definitely not going to be trying to put her into any very dynamic poses in a hurry.

When did you get your Joker? I pre-ordered mine as soon as I could (I got it before any of my local stores did) and while a few joints were stiff out of the box it has some of or among the best quality of all their DC "exclusive" figures. In any case it looks freaking amazing. When I say exclusive I mean any of their 7" figures that can't be released under normal circumstances, these figures notably have inferior QC compared to most NECA items keeping in mind NECA is no champion of QC. I theorize that the natur of these figures' release means they have rushed production dates and that's what leads to crummier QC.

I got my Joker around the end of 2015. I was able to find him at my local TRU. Mine has perpetually stuck elbows and knees. When you try to bend the knees without applying heat, the plastic stretches and affects finish of the paint on his thighs. There are actually spots that seem slightly discolored like white stress marks in the plastic or something. It's not a huge deal, because I don't really play with my figures or pose them over and over again, He does look really nice but I appreciate having the ability to pose my figures even though I don't actually pose them that much. He really just needs to be able to stand and look menacing, which he does just fine.

Interesting. It's possible they put less care into the later ones to pump them out faster in response to the strong demand.

I haven't had any problems with any of my other Neca figures. I have a handful of Aliens, a handfull of Terminator figures, about 15 Predators and I customized 2 of the 8-bit Batman figures before the screen accurate ones were announced. The only problems I've had with Neca have been with the Chris Reeve Superman, Ledger Joker and the Arkham Harley. What you said about the rushed production on those seems likely.

Pretty much same here though thankfully I've been lucky enough to not run into any issues with my DC figures. The only two figures I've had to get replacements for are the ultimate part 3 Jason which had two left feet and the Spike Tail Predator who just broke, but that's two out of around eighty.

Finished Titus, every Walgreen's and Walmart and Target stocked them heavily so it was kinda easy to find everyone...put down four other Drax's cos' of wonky eyes and skipped Star Lord cos' I'm waiting for the long coat version in the next GotG wave.

Oh, and that's the Odin BAF cape, it was going to no use until today.
