I love the show, but I feel like the last episode and the forced romance brings the series down a couple notches.

Got the Extreme-Sets Command Station diorama for 3.75" action figures. Actually didn't know it was for 3.75" figures beforehand (they're usually for 6"-7") but it worked out in the end. I like it a lot, it'll be divided among multiple collections like the Abandoned House. Check out my review if you're interested: |

Here's some toy/figure pick ups from the last week. The Catwoman, Parasite and Darwyn Cooke Batman were purchased at a local Comic-Con. I still have the DC Icons Catwoman on pre-order at BBTS but I imagine she's probably going to be cancelled soon, so I haggled with a vender to get her down to $30. The Parasite and Batman were both MISP and I got them for $15 each. The Marvel Icons Iron Man I picked up for $25 at a local Wal-Mart and I absolutely love it. I don't think I'll ever buy that Icons Cap because his face looks whack, but I might pick up Spidey if he gets to $20 or less. Finally, I bought Wonder Woman today at a local Target for full retail. She has pretty weak articulation except for her arms, but her accessories are awesome. It's not meant to be displayed this way, but I used clear rubber bands to attach the ricocheted bullets to the energy/blast effect. I think it looks like she's deflecting several bullets with one bracelet this way. I'm pretty happy with the way it looks even though she has less articulation. Cheers!

Happy May the 4th (even though I'm posting this, technically, on Revenge of the 5th
![]() I finally found that elusive Cassian Andor, and for under $6 ! I stopped by the closest Wal-Mart to pick up some energy drinks after work, knowing that their pegs had been clogged with 3 3/4" Black Series Finn, Han, and Leia for months, but I checked anyways, and just happened to see a recently-arrived box of Wave 4 on a shelf overhead. Someone beat me to the Scarif Stormtroopers, but I'm not going to obsess about it, because they left me a Cassian, who has been at the top of my list for SOOOO long, along with a Jyn, who I snagged for a friend who never spotted that figure in her area ! And, I just couldn't pass on this Lando, especially at that price, since I never picked up this version the first time around, when he was in the TVC lineup. ![]()

Well, I guess it's not the "final battle", more the one before, against the MS-06b Gouf Custom. I love the GM Sniper too, the first GM that actually mattered. Ha ha. As for the forced romance, I think that's standard in Gundam, it's basically a series of space opera with giant robots with guns!

As for romances, I know it's not the first Gundam shows, but there is nothing between Aina and Shiro to make their love believable.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I had an interesting day. I set out to find the new ultimate Predator at TRU but they didn't have it yet so that hunt goes on but I popped into the Gamestop next to my TRU and saw that they had gotten some of the club black freighter Watchmen figures from Mattel but they only had Silk Specter and Ozymandias so I went home and checked online to see if any other local stores had any others. A Gamestop that's a bit out of my way, but obviously not too out of my way since I am making this post, had Dr. Manhattan and the Comedian. As a bonus when I walked in to pick those up they also had 3 of the exclusive R5-D4 figures so that hunt is now completed. The Watchmen figures are quite nicer than I'd have expected from Mattel, yeah Comedian's guns are rubbery and there are some loose joints but the overall presentation including the packaging is commendable. Dr. Manhattan also has a brilliant reaction to black light. ![]()

I used to love playing with my figures under my black light. Pretended they were fighting in a nightclub.

![]() New arrivals and bonus photobombing cat. Deathstroke is great, I was a bit disappointed with Hawkgirl at first but she has grown on me. She has a very impressive wing-span, and using a flight stand to compensate for the poor leg articulation makes for an impressive looking setup.

Lol, that's the first time I've seen a cat foot photobomb a picture, and in such a "I spit in your general direction" pose.

So what is up with all of the gold colored ones lately? I've seen Peach, Samus, and a few others.
