Thinkgeek store paid off for me which is nice since it's technically way out of my local area. I put my thoughts on Qui-Gon in the Star Wars thread but overall I like it. Rorschach is an alright figure but he has some notable issues for me. Nothing is really wrong with the figure on its own, the paint apps are nice and clean and everything moves okay albeit a little limited by his coat. However Mattel seems to have made some weird decisions with his accessory and figure size. So his one accessory is his grapple line launcher gun thing but Mattel made it ridiculously oversized, it almost seems like it was intended for a 1:6 scale figure. So that just looks goofy in his hands. I wound up giving him the butcher knife that came with the NECA ultimate part 4 Jason because it fits in his hand pretty well and it looks nice with him. The other issue is that Mattel made Rorschach really tall especially when put next to the other Watchmen figures. He's depicted to be a little shorter than most of the other guys in the comics and then when he's arrested the cops refer to him as being a runt because he wears elevator shoes to appear taller. So how comes it then that his figure is taller than Dr Manhattan or The Comedian? Maybe Mattel made Rorschach with a 7" scale in mind? Probably not since he's mostly just re-used parts from the Mattel Question figure (how appropriate). Still I'm glad I was able to find him since none of the Gamestops in my area have any of them except Ozymandias and Silk Spectre.

Got these two in a deal using Toyark's very own BST forum. I couldn't be happier! If you haven't, go check it out!

To the top of his hat Rorschach is around 6.5" tall. If you have no other Watchmen figures he's great as a solo piece but he's definitely too tall compared to the rest of the line.

I finally got Chirrut! Distribution for the black series has been abysmal going all the way back to last December (I still have yet to see the Revan wave hit stores) so I never saw Baze or Chirrut and their online prices were pretty wacky for awhile. I'm not sure if it was time or online retailers getting more stock but Chirrut's price on Amazon finally dipped down to $25 and I got one after thinking about it for a week or so. My original intent was to get Baze too but with other recent and upcoming purchases I will have to check in on him later, it'd be nice to have the proper pair but if I could only have one it was definitely Chirrut.

6.5 is a good height, you probably mean bulkyness size. i would just but him thou, im Not a completionist so i wouldnt get the others but i did like the movie. also remember that he is of regular size, hes not a muscular dude like the others so he is fine as far as being "small"

They got his bulk right, as you said Rorschach is not an apparently muscular dude, but in the comics Rorschach is explicitly stated to be 5'6" out of costume and even when he's in his costume he's still obviously shorter than every other guy. For accuracy's sake where the brim of the hat is on the figure should instead be where the top of the hat ends. One of the things that was great about the movie casting Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach is that the man himself is only about 5'6". That's all besides the point because yes if you only get Rorschach then besides the goofy oversized grapple gun I think it's great.
