Really? I've honestly never noticed it until yesterday, maybe I'm always distracted by ghost rider haha, I'm gonna have to find the artist, that art is on point.

The only other difference (that I'm aware of) is the paint, the two pack version has a lot more gold. It resembles something closer to how the suit looked when it held a charge. I never got the original so I can't do a proper side-by-side comparison but the new one is easily identifiable by all of the new gold marks, particularly on the body and upper legs.

Also, DAMN that's one hell of a haul you scooped up. I could never get past One-Eyed Willy's piano to find such treasure.

Ok, so I placed my preorder with Gamestop for the following,
Wolverine
Storm
Sabretooth
Phylocke
Venom
Carnage
Typhoid Mary
Doc Oct
Electra

I’ve received them all in two rounds, the last round had me getting Typhoid Mary and all my X-men EXCEPT PHYLOCKE!!!!!
What the hell?? Why was she held back??? Don’t know if it’s gamestop or Hasbro based on how the shippings been going with you other guys and your preorders to other stores.

I saw the two pack today, and my Target had the original Killmonger on the shelf too. I compared them and the two pack figure is night and day different. In a good way. If you are considering it, I would pull the trigger for sure.

i got a gift card from work so i went to target and bought Zero (7")so basically it was free guys let me tell you, Mcfarlane has finally put good articulation. The articu. on this figure is amazing! Borderlands is one of the best games i have ever played so im a big fan. hope they take out Brick & maya as well

SideNote: the knee joint not only bends but it spins 360 degrees, i have never seen this type of articu. (geeking out over articu. lol)

So a ball-hinge? Star Wars 3.75" figures used to have those back when they were articulated (I guess the returning Vintage collection probably brought them back) and NECA uses that type of joint for almost all of their human knees. It's a good joint for aesthetic purposes but loses range to other joints. I'm glad McFarlane is actually trying to catch up with some of the competition now, it shouldn't have surprised them that most collectors were pretty much turned off by their initial comeback with plastic statues featuring worthless articulation.

yup, it turned me off also, im a big articu. guy.....i never knew neca had those joints till now lol i just tried it on my predator and it does spin. kinda stiff but it does it. the mcfarlane is smoother at the joints. the knee on Zero also has a ratchet type, forgot to mention that

That's beautiful. This has been such an expensive summer, and I couldn't be happier about that.

What do you think of the Rex? Pictures really don't do justice to the sheer size of that thing. And most large toys cheap out on the paint. Not in this instance, though.
I love what Mattel has done with the line, I can't remember the last time I felt compelled to buy any dinosaur toy before it because none of them were good enough. I just picked up the Ankylosaur this week, but haven't had time to set aside for photography.

I got Laura for my Logan! She impressed me much in the movie. I would call her cute but I don't think she'd like that

A lot of NECA's joints can be stiff or outright stuck so caution is always important, although they have greatly improved their QC over the years it's still not perfect. I can see in your picture what you mean about the ratcheting on Zero, I remember when McFarlane first started using those type of joints they looked just like that but damn were they frequently brittle so even with their new stuff I instinctively act like a paleontologist when I mess with those joints.

This past month has been killing my wallet!!!
I gotta give most of this credit to Gamestop. They have been getting them in a relatively timely fashion and with that 25% off sale a couple weeks ago saved me a bunch of money and time hunting. AND the new Deadpool wave is due next week!! Pre Ordering every figure with them has been making getting Legends MUCH easier that hunting normal retail.

This is fantastic news, I was wondering what would happen to these products. Suddenly the loss of TRU doesn't seem so bad now.

Thanks and yes..this entire YEAR has been expensive and that's trying to stick to a few select lines!!!
The dino line is nice..but i DO NOT need to collect one more thing from it...even though they'd look cool together.
I didn't pull it out the package yet, so I don't have any comments aside from the fact that it looks cool.
