So I got the Jack Slater convertible from "Last Action Hero". I actually remember having gone to the cinema at the time. I'm old.
It's a bit small for my bigger figures but I saw it linked on an Instagram account, followed to the youtube review and then got it for... ![]() ...that fifth wheel which is simply awesome as... ![]() ...it then can drive on only two wheels! ![]() You also can let the trunk flip open and dynamite shot out... ![]() ![]() ![]() But I do wonder about why the plastic looks so weird? Is that normal? Is it supposed to look like that? I don't think, some areas are smooth but some look like crumbled paper. When you touch it it's smooth though, it's inside. paint not mixed properly? Or falling apart over time? The car was mint in box, still glued together, never opened. So nothing the seller could have known or done, but it kinda irks me. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Astra; 10-02-2019 at 03:40 PM.. |

A Jack Slater figure was not included in the box but I guess you could look for them for size. My Ed sitting there in the last picture is 6". The red roadster is also available from the Last Action Hero line: https://d9nvuahg4xykp.cloudfront.net...7141886944.jpg Last edited by Astra; 10-03-2019 at 12:59 AM.. |

Those swirls show up randomly and in different places but they are present in both of the one I have. Must have had something to do with the gold paint they used. |

I'm not really sure how to measure the scale of a car? It does not say anywhere on the box. The reviewer of this video calls it 1:12, he put a Deadpool figure in:

For my 7" or 1:10 scale figures I was told to get a Bratz car. I'll show it when it arrives! Last edited by Astra; 10-03-2019 at 11:00 AM.. |

![]() Lasershot Predator came in the mail today. I think he looks fantastic and for the most part he handles well. The shoulders' ability to hinge in and out is limited by the armor but that's it for articulation issues I've experienced. It's not pictured but in hand I like his goofy-ass alternate left claw hand a lot more than I did when it was first shown off so it's a bit of a shame that I wasn't able to switch the hands out, I think mine has excess plastic blocking it up. I didn't even bother fiddling with the bendy wire aspect of his harpoon/grappling hook cannon as I always intended to display him with just the spearhead. Finally my single favorite aspect of the figure is his head; the LED right eye works well and looks great, the colors pop (this actually applies to the whole toy), and the sculpt is intricate and does a wonderful job camouflaging the battery panel. ![]() First time since 2015 a local store had some new stuff for Force Friday. 2-3 cases of Black Series and some of the new 5" kids line, which actually looked quite nice. Rey was sold out, there were two Cals left and one of everything else. Someone tried to hide Second Sister at the very back of the shelf too

![]() ![]() Amphibian Man came in the mail today. NECA really knocked it out of the park with this one, the sculpt and paint work are top-notch and he handles very well. I had no stuck or loose joints and was easily able to switch out the alternate forearms and hands. The included base is fairly sizable and has a nice "wet spot" effect that doesn't capture well on camera but really helps the overall look. Even if I hadn't seen the movie I'd still likely really enjoy this figure just as a modern approach to the Gill Man.

I am looking for him but so far only found American sellers where the shipping is as much as the figure if not more. Hope European sellers soon will get him. Went into Barnes & Noble this morning and their Star Wars display hadn't even been touched. Got my two most-wanted figures:

Checked again for the Amphibian man but all Ebay sellers have him as pre-order, supposed to arrive at the end of October. I want him now!!!
Another car has turned up today! Any watchers of "Stranger Things" here? I'll have to thank Reddit as otherwise I would have no idea about this. The first model car I buy but too good to pass on even though it's only 1:24. You also get a police badge, and you can open the hood and doors and take off the roof! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Astra; 10-04-2019 at 04:15 PM.. |

![]() Finally found Rey, she and the Sith trooper seem to be the rarest around here. Around eight or nine cases worth of TROS 6" figures spotted and just one of each.
