Well dookie. Was hopin’ it would scale with legends.

Generally with Diamond Select it's a rule that unless you're dealing with a large character like Hulk or Titanium Man then they'll be too big to go with Legends.

Found Homelander at Target, I never once saw any signs that my Walmart had gotten him back when he was a timed exclusive so it's good to see him already showing up elsewhere. The likeness to Antony Starr is pretty good in hand, notably on the stern head and it's still there on the other head but the expression being this weird noncommittal smile thing throws it off. I like the effect of the alternate eye-lasers head but then the expression doesn't really work with it. Like Starlight the sculpted texture on his suit and the material for his cape are great but then I'm also impressed by how well his shoulder pads look and function. I'm generally pleased with the figure but really would have liked it to feel more "ultimate" than it does, maybe by having come with some actual accessories.

Picked up the monster today at Target. Had 4 to choose from, thankfully there was one that had perfect paint.

This figure is amazing in hand, a lot better than I was expecting. I do wish for the price we could have at least got one more accessory or even a fourth headsculpt, but overall I'm happy. He's huge and towers over the rest of my horror collection.

The restock Target Baroness was delivered today, although it's a good thing Target padded the box with air bags because Fedex apparently punted the box once or twice.

^ Still one of the best 6" figs made IMO... from a visual design standpoint I mean. I also really like that she comes with a helmet headsculpt... I just wish they gave her Black Widow's bike though. It's cool everyone can get her now.

I finally found some new MOTU figures recently and got the Ghostpopper on clearance for $13!

The comics, diecast cars, and metal signs were from the McKinney Flea Market (it happens every 3rd weekend of the month).

Then I found Frankenstein and the Batman statue (?) at Wal-Mart last weekend for my birthday gifts to myself lol

Luckily those Walmart stickers aren't super adhesive and they wiped right off without any damage or residue.

This may be the wrong place to ask but has anyone been able to use the updated Wal-Mart app to get your local store prices? I was using the old one to find clearance prices on things not marked. I can't get the new one to do it. If you can help just pm me. thanks.

Got Bucky Barnes today. Great figure just annoyed he didn't come with any guns. I know he didn't use any in Falcon and The Winter Soldier but still. I gave him one of the extra set of guns deadpool came with

Found the McFarlane battle damage Batman at Target. So I forgot that this actually does have a new cape compared to the figure from the Build-a Merciless wave, otherwise though it's a straight repaint. The cape on the build-a wave release was very windswept and appeared short but not particularly damaged, for this version it is significantly tattered. The main draw here for me though was the new paint scheme. The battle scars across Batman were all sculpted the first time around but now they're actually filled in with red to accentuate their presence instead of just being the same grey as the non-damaged parts. Similarly some blood has been added to the mouth on his right side that I think makes the facial expression work better than it did without it. The biggest improvement for me though is that this time the underside of his cape is purple, it was fine in black but one of the reasons I think this costume really works so well in the comics was that purple so I like it when the toys follow suit. I have no idea if the color of the axes or the exact shades of grey and yellow are different since I never got the last one. If you already have the previous version there probably isn't much pull to buy this one at all but if you, like me, passed on that release then I think it's a pretty cool Batman for a battle damaged look.

I have the same problem with the Walmart app. I ended up using Brickseek to get the prices at the local store level. It was pretty accurate for the prices but stock quantity was not always correct.
