From my Xmas Money Haul I got MCU Shang Chi. Great figure Not much of a figure poser but I am proud of the pose I got Shang in. Got him with 15% off through a gamestop sale so I only paid $16.14 before shipping. Amazon 3rd party asking starting priced for him were 25-30.

I was very lucky today, I managed to spot a new Classified case being put on the pegs at Target. Just grabbed one of each.

Very lucky. I went to three Targets on Sunday without success. One of them had an employee opening up a box of Joes to put on the pegs as I was there and it was all movie figures. -_-

Like why the hell are they starting to carry the movie line SIX months after that abysmal failure came out?

It could be to get them on store shelves for clearancing. They're doing that with the McFarlane Suicide Squad figures. You can't find them at Target.com anymore, but stores are being stocked with tons of Harley Quinns and Masked Peacemakers (in addition to their exclusive Unmasked variant).

The weird thing was that when I first checked the toy aisle, the Classified pegs were full of movie figures that had been there for a few weeks. I was about to leave the store, but I remembered that I forgot to look for something else so I doubled back. That's when I noticed an employee carrying a Hasbro box into the aisle. He took all the movie figures away and then opened the case and put out the new wave.

I will warn that you need to watch out for sloppy paint, especially the Alley Viper.

Both of the other stores I regularly visit are still stuck with the damn movie figures. The sooner Hasbro moves on from that unwanted mess the better.

But would they clearance them considering they are under the same DCPI?

BTW, my Targets are clogged with unmasked Peacemakers, Harleys, Blights, and a bunch of other DC figures that are just chilling in the NECA section.

I was able to buy Harley Quinn and Masked Peacemaker for 50% off at one Target in my area. They're full price at other Targets. It's weird, not every store updates their computers at the same time. One store is still trying to sell Dune Jason Momoa for full price even though all the other stores have him marked down to $7.49.

And of course, now that McFarlane Suicide Squads are 1/2 off - the right price - Polka Dot Man and Bloodsport are no where to be found.

Well, at least one store in my area has Bloodsport, but all the figures (except for Unmasked Peacemaker) are still full price there. I guess I could PM Target.com. The figures aren't searchable on Target.com, but you can find the hidden pages if you use an external search engine such as Google.

I lucked into one at Target when I had to get my wife her Christmas gift from a store way out in the country. It was as 75% off, I paid about $7 for him. I’m glad I did, because that’s the last figure I wanted to pay scalper prices on.

I don't post here as often as I used to, mostly because I don't collect much these days besides Marvel Legends and Underground Toys' Doctor Who figures.

I figure everyone else here buys the same Legends that I'm buying, so I don't see the point in posting yet another Legends pic, lol, and Doctor Who figures have become hard to find in my area (plus, I'm not in a big rush to pick up the 13th Doctor and her companions), so I haven't picked up many of those over the past couple of years.

I'm pretty excited about these belated Christmas gifts, and I finally have an opportunity to share some pics !

Finishing 2021 out with a bang thanks to Dorkside getting me my Kessler wolf from NECA. Really wasn't sure if I'd get this before 2022 because of how delayed everything NECA has been this year, I mean I'm still waiting on the station survivor MacReady and the nightmare demon so getting this in now is a surprise. American Werewolf in London has always been one of those movies I wanted to get figure representation but it never really did. Around 5 years ago PCS showed they were going to make the Kessler wolf but that literally went nowhere so it's great that NECA stepped up and delivered. Sculpting a figure that's supposed to be shaggy hairy and features articulation can be a bit tricky but I think NECA pulled it off. The details in sculpt and paint are excellent on mine but I have seen one or two shared via twitter with kinda wonky eyes so that's something to watch out for. The articulation is good and all works well but it is a quadrupedal monster so in that way there are some obvious limitations to what it can do. The only included piece is the alternate head but it swaps easily and holds snug on the neck joint. My only con is that there are no other accessories included. I think including a full victim corpse might have been too much but something like the severed hand he left behind or the inspector's head could have been fit in. Even some severed limbs non-specific to the movie could have served as nice display props. Despite that criticism though the figure itself is the reason I bought this and it's pretty excellent so I'm very happy.

Found the platinum chase version of Dr Fate at Target, this is actually my first time finding any of McFarlane's platinum chase variants. I prefer the lighter blue used for this Fate as opposed to the standard darker color and overall I think he has a sharp look. Swamp Thing and Human Torch came in from Amazon. For $40 Swamp Thing is a pretty impressive piece at around a foot tall (I didn't exactly measure), the sculpt is intricate and the subtle color changes help bring it out. I'm glad that they've been doing big megafigs like this instead of locking every large figure behind having to buy a full wave.
