Out of the 80s sub-teams, Slaughter's Marauders comes 3rd after Tiger Force and Python Patrol for me. I still think SM paint scheme is much better than Night Force, which is my least favorite.

Those are great. And maybe this is more of a Hisstank convo, but in general, I was never into the sub teams that were just redecos. Even as a kid, I felt I was getting ripped off by buying the same toy with different colors.

JC Penney was a hidden goldmine for Legends and Black Series a few years ago !

I remember seeing posts in Legends groups on Facebook where people were finding the Jim Lee version of Cyclops at JCP, while everyone else was striking out at WM, Target, Walgreens, and TRU.

Back in '16, I actually lucked into a $15 Black Series Sabine Wren at my local JCP, two days before Christmas. I had seen, again, lol, in FB collectors' groups that Legends and Black Series figures were on sale at JCP for X-Mas, so I braved the crowds and lucked out.
Oddly enough, the Sabine that I had ordered from Amazon had just arrived that morning, so I displayed one as permanently helmeted and the other as permanently un-helmeted, to avoid scratching her face paint by constantly removing and replacing her helmet.
