I remember seeing posts in Legends groups on Facebook where people were finding the Jim Lee version of Cyclops at JCP, while everyone else was striking out at WM, Target, Walgreens, and TRU.

Back in '16, I actually lucked into a $15 Black Series Sabine Wren at my local JCP, two days before Christmas. I had seen, again, lol, in FB collectors' groups that Legends and Black Series figures were on sale at JCP for X-Mas, so I braved the crowds and lucked out.
Oddly enough, the Sabine that I had ordered from Amazon had just arrived that morning, so I displayed one as permanently helmeted and the other as permanently un-helmeted, to avoid scratching her face paint by constantly removing and replacing her helmet.

Funny to see that my JCPenney (not really mine as my local store closed years ago, and this one is an two hours away, but I digress...) isn't the only niche pocket dimension for collectibles. That vaguely measures up with the timeline, as this store location hasn't had Star Wars Black series in years. Just holding on to the last remnants of their Legends stock and flatly refusing to bother lowering that $30 price tag. Can't imagine what they'd charge now with all of the price uphikes. Sheesh!

Got both figures with $5 off using each store's loyalty rewards/programs. Definitely feels better getting these purchases with a deflated price.

Uh, sorry, I meant no attitude. I was genuinely asking because I have photos of the figure and it's box and wondered which ones you wanted. That's all. They all come in the same style of packaging just with different logos on the front from whichever MotU incarnation they're from.

No worries. I looked at my post and figured maybe it could be misinterpreted as a lil sarcastic or rude but aye it definitely wasn't intended as such as there was nothing in your post I had any reason to be mocking.

How sick is the art?! I mean I didn’t even notice the beast woman until you pointed that out and Nate’s beast man with a baseball bat Negan style with a human skull on his chest. I saw some merman concept art a few years ago that was super menacing. I picked up the compendium of the mini comics a few years back and love the art of the MOTU toy lines, this seems like a lost art with a lot of toylines today. Give me the cool art and the cross sales please

Thank you for taking the time to do that, the box art looks great, with this line I look forward to seeing the artwork as much as the figure, for various reasons I haven’t been opening my figs, so I love it when companies put effort into the packaging like this Masterverse line, like you I wish more toy lines took note. Yeah, that seems weird. I don't even know what this New Eternia thing is though, so maybe it's after Skeletor has been defeated? But then, why would Beast Man be running wild? Wouldn't he be locked up for his crimes, if he isn't dead?

I was also confused as to what New Eternia was supposed to be, apparently it’s just toys based off concept art and stuff, hence the ‘barbarian’ He-Man and Skeletor, so I guess these figures can be whatever you want them to be

Aye, New Eternia is it's own thing based on the concept art of the original MotU designgers mainly Mark Taylor who passed away some months ago. They're not exact figures of his designs, but they are inspired by those. It's just something a bit different and adding some more variety. These New Eternia figures have so far all had a unique outfit that is their 'canon' look for the subline but also include parts to make more tradtional versions of the characters too. So aye, the furry animal skin is the 'Shaman' Beast Man look and the classic armour is just included if you want something a bit more like his usual gear.

Revelation also has Beast Man as an ex-henchmen of Skeletor (while Skelly is dead at least) and becomes a protector and best friend of Evil-Lyn. Even when Skeletor returns and Evil-Lyn reluctantly sides with him again (at least until she swipes the power of Grayskull for herself), Beast Man only does so out of loyalty to Lyn, not Skels.

Given the way Skeletor treats Beast Man in most incarnations it's not that surprising if some versions of Beast Man would refuse to follow him. :P

After lucking into all of those Pink Rangers a while ago, I've been patiently waiting for Hasbro Pulse to finally ship my April and Mikey TMNT/MMPR set. While I was waiting, Entertainment Earth shipped my Trini pre-order AND I just happened to stumble upon these Bandai Legacy Collection Pink and Yellow Rangers at a local shop !

I was lucky enough to have my Rogue & Pyro shipped immediately, but my April & Mikey sat in Pulse's Atlanta distribution center for weeks. The 2-day delivery by FedEx (it only had to travel from Atlanta to Savannah, lol), along with my Entertainment Earth Trini arriving the same day, softened the blow a little.

I've worked in shipping and logistics before, and I gotta admit, it wasn't for me, lol, so I sympathize with the employees at Pulse, but management there really should have prepared for the utter onslaught of orders they were going to receive because of that sale, and prepared accordingly.

Thanks. The Cog 2 packs were the only reason I even bothered getting the rangers themselves. I was originally going to wait to see if Hasbro did a box set for Zeo considering they don't have the proper batons for their holsters, but with the prices for the sale, I couldn't resist even if an 5 pack does still come out in the future. Really though, all I want are the batons I can put into their holsters and the tream would be perfect since the sculpting and paint jobs on the figures themselves are stellar.

I also love how they've covered 3 of the 4 variations of the Cogs so far. Now they just need the matte clothed versions and they'll be done. Perhaps they can do that version in a two pack with King Mondo or something. I am bummed they do not have the gold discs on their knees, elbows, and shoulders though.
