Landshark fleet! lol Aye they seem to be almost giving away those recently. Usually they're £30+ but been on Amazon for about £10. I wish they were a bit bigger to comfortably fit a Masterverse figure in them. The Wind Raider has more than enough room to fit those figures in. The Roton that just came out is depressingly small. Even the Origins figures look a smidge uncomfortable in them lol. I'd prefer if they'd re-issue the Classics Roton which is like twice the size and far more imposing.

Found the Black Series Client and Death Watch Mando at Target, and then the Kitty Pryde Q-fig at Walmart. I was actually a bit surprised that the Death Watch was one of the few left since thus far he seemed to be the most desired in the wave what with so many looking to army build him. Unfortunately my figure is not without issues as his right shoulder is really loose, the housing piece around his antenna isn't properly assembled, and the jetpack is seriously prone to just popping out whenever I handle the figure. The antenna housing doesn't interfere with the functionality at all but it does observably look off. One really good aspect of the figure though is that they didn't do that faux-head under the helmet crap like they did with the RotJ Boba Fett, the helmet is the head and they just did a decent sculpt underneath to imply there's a head there. I seriously wish they would've done that for the RotJ Boba Fett. The Client on the other hand is great all around. He handles very well and the likeness is good. Much like Bill Burr before him there's a potent novelty of getting a Werner Herzog action figure. The Kitty Q-fig is pretty much flawless in my book. The concept is charming and it's executed very well. The only other "elite" Q-fig I have is the Spider Gwen and while I really do like that one it is a bit busy with a lot of little parts, whereas Kitty is a much more easy to look at piece that still packs in some nice detail.

I just picked up the Hot Toys classic costume Spider-Man. This figure is sublime.

^ I am really surprised both of those eventually became pegwarmers/clearance bait... The Armorer was probably my fav new character (not named Baby Yoda) from the first season of The Mandalorian and Blonde Nebula was my fav new character design from What If.

Storm Shadow, Spirit and The Cobra Officer.
The kicker is I went in WalMart looking for Blitzwing. He has started to show up around here. When I saw the Classified figures I just freaked out because it was so unexpected. This other collector I know was right behind me and snagged the only Blitzy on the shelf. Wah-waaaaaaaah. (I kid though. Very thankful for finding these) The case had 2 of each figure. If anyone is wondering how it breaks down. |

In english as in dubbed? Or just officially releases in the US?
Because if it's dubbed, that will never happen. Discotek has said they don't have the funds to dub 50+ episode series, so Part 3 and the remainder of Part 2 will not be dubbed by them. Additionally, there is no consistency with the dubs as some have like Richard Epcar as Jigen, others have Chris Sabat, and then there are like 2-3 other actors voice Jigen. One of the terrible dubs on Castle of Cagliostro has freaking Solid Snake voice Lupin. WTF? Anyway, if you mean released in English, they're working on it. Parts 1, 3-5 have been released on Blu-Ray while all of Part 2 has been done on DVD. Discotek said part 2 needs a proper remaster before they could justify the licensing costs of putting it on Blu-Ray because the masters they were given for the DVDs were terrible. They've done a ton of movies and specials already with more on the way.

Nice finds !
About a decade ago, I picked up what turned out to be nearly the complete run of Cary Bates' Captain Atom, at a local comic shop, during a pretty generous Free Comic Book Day sale. I loved the character in Justice League Unlimited, and I thought he was interesting in Jeff Loeb's and Ed McGuinness' run of "Superman/Batman", so I was thrilled to have finally found a series based on that character (since these issues weren't on Comixology at that point, if memory serves). However, the Bates run was ... lol ... NOT what I was expecting at all ! Don't get me wrong, it was an amazing read, but I was not expecting a military conspiracy comic, replete with that characteristic mid-80's DC grimdark feel to it ! In all honesty, I was expecting a series featuring an overly-powered boy scout do-gooder, akin to the typical Captain Marvel or (obviously) Superman comic. It did inspire me to re-read The Watchmen though. Since the two books were published around the same time, I was eager to examine the different approaches that Moore and Bates took in order to re-interpret and re-define Captain Atom.

I have another order coming in mail of this same line (from #7 to 16) so will have some overlaps/doubles but wanting to get the full run if I can. Read this title in Vol 1 semi frequently bought @ the newsagent as a teen plus saw him as you mention in other titles at times and enjoyed the chatacter a lot.

Motivated by finding the Q-fig Kitty Pryde at Walmart the other day I was checking online for either of the Catwoman Q-figs and found the animated series version for just a little over $20. I had passed on this when it was in stores for $30 and she never stuck around for a price reduction so I finally pounced. Like the others it's a cute piece that still fits in some detail without straying from simplicity.
