Got my second Mcfarlane DC figure today and its Injustice 2 Doctor Fate. I love the look of the figure. The Helmet has Eye Holes unlike movie fate which was a big selling point. I love the flight stand its my first one I have ever owned. I gave him my Marvel Legends GOTG Vol 2 Warlock magic effects until I get Constantine then I will give him the spellbook that comes with him. |

Cobra officer arrived from amazon today, earlier than anticipated. I was lucky enough to get an order in for him a week or so ago.

Lucky! Amazon delayed mine from July 1st to July 10th, and now July 20th.

I say go for it, the line will only become easier to collect as supply chains are repaired, doubly so now that Hasbro can see how much demand there is for this line. You have to remember that the line debuted amidst the height of the pandemic, and as an under-estimated property, at that. |

It has been a frustrating line to collect, but they are some of the finest mass-retail 6" figures on the market. There's also the fact that G.I.Joe has always been well ahead of the current curves in terms of inclusivity- having gathered that you have a preference towards female figures, there are already a few excellent choices there (Baroness. Oh man, what a figure!), and the inclusion of a female HISS gunner in the Haslab campaign hints at a long awaited future trend of female troops
Funny you mention Baroness as she is the figure that keeps calling me to the line. Also I’ve been wanting to see female troops for awhile now so thanks for the heads up. Dammit, you’ve convinced me I need yet another line to collect. |

Spirit and Freedom are here! Been waiting for him for a long time! Hasbro did a great job with his modern look. Wolf, Croc and Eagle so far. We need more Joe animals!
Trying to come up with kitbash ideas for my 2nd Storm Shadow. |

Found a complete set of the new-ish Black Series assortment at a local grocery store so I got Echo and Ahsoka. I think I would have overall preferred Echo in his Clone Wars ARC trooper getup but since that was a pain-in-the-ass Target exclusive this is still decent consolation to at least have any version of him at retail. He seems a tad too pale, I have no idea what this claw-like attachment is supposed to be since it wasn't in the show (maybe season 2?), and Hasbro seriously still hasn't made a left hand for clones to properly hold pistols so that just went straight to its holster. Flawed to be sure but overall still nice to have. Ahsoka handles extremely well and looks good (although I think her Rebels design had a touch more going for me), my only critique is that her lightsaber blades are milky and lackluster when compared to how great the Rebels version did them.

I found a Mattel DC Multiverse figure packaged in a McFarlane box at Walmart. I'd thought it would be good to compare Mattel's Batman figures to McFarlane's. The McFarlane figures offer greater detail and articulation than Mattel. The DC Universe Batman's body is sculpted like every male character in a costume.
Here's some Batman vs. Joker action. I also got DC Multiverse Aquaman from the comics.'I almost have a Justice League assembled of McFarlane figures. All I need is a Rebirth Wonder Woman and Barry Allen Flash, which McFarlane hasn't made yet. I also found the Gotham Knights Batgirl at Vintage Stock. It can go with my Gotham Knights Nightwing and my Mortal Kombat figures as part of my Gamerverse. Batgirl & Nightwing Vs. Joker Spawn Vs. Joker Meanwhile, Nightwing & Batgirl hang out on a rooftop unaware of the fact that the Spawn has killed the Joker. |

McFarlane did a Rebirth Barry Allen going a while back now, it's the figure they used as the base for their Eobard and the Walmart Wally.

I know everyone went nuts for HA Roadblock but i really love the og release. I never found the redeco one so i have the first release and goofy weapon and tat aside i like it better than HA Rb. V2 was my favorite roadblock.

The Redeco Roadblock I found at Vintage Stock in Zona Rosa in the KC, MO area. The Redeco Duke I had to order online. I like the HA weapons better than the initial Roadblock, figurewise the Field Variant Roadblock is the best. I'd still get the HA version if I find a good deal on it, it still looks like a good figure.

I finally got the station survival MacReady from NECA. I have no idea why but none of my stores have ever gotten this one in while the first release has been pretty common on shelves, anyway Dorkside finally got him in stock (I know some other online stores have had him for a bit now but Dorkside was my notably cheaper option). Distribution griefs aside I'm largely happy with the figure beyond one notable complaint. As soon as I finished sliding the flamethrower tanks on one of the straps broke off at the lower connection, I was able to reattach it with superglue but that doesn't excuse that it should have been better made or thought out. He does include an alternate head with a calm expression and his hood pulled up but they didn't include the goggles that go with that look so I never even bothered switching heads. The accessories from the iconic blood test scene are nicely done but the figure itself doesn't have the dynamite strapped to his torso like he did by that part of the movie so personally I feel wrong leaving him displayed with those pieces. Really the standout scene this figure can properly represent is the defibrillation/Norris monster scene which is also an iconic moment but does make me wish he also came with the spider-head monster (they're probably saving that for releases of the creature itself). Overall as a general figure of MacReady I'm glad I skipped the first release and waited for this one, even though I had to repair mine I wouldn't be satisfied with a flamethrower-less MacReady.
