Birthday haul. I expressed my thoughts on the Marvel Legends in their respective appreciation thread. Talon is another nice addition to my DC Multiverse collection. I like that his goggle lenses aren't painted in their lit orange as this soft blue-grey color contrasts pretty well to the gold framing it. None of the throwing knives on his bandolier are removable but he does still come nicely equipped with two knives, two swords, and the blades on his right glove are extended. The knives sorta match up with what has been used on some covers but he never really used swords like these (to my knowledge), they do match a sword he had on the wall in his 13th floor lair though so I'll count it as a neat call-back.

Finally I picked up the new Vintage Collection Darth Vader from the Kenobi series. I've largely stopped picking up 3.75" figures but I came upon this in a Walmart and couldn't resist. For the size he looks excellent and handles well, I had no problem swapping hands. I will say that the cape is a bit too much, I might look into some clips or something to hold it back in place.

Transformers Legacy is giving us Tarantulas and Inferno.

My Legends Okoye arrived... First in the not seeing the figure packaging.


Of course my Okoye has a big bunch of brown plastic on the side of her face that's not supposed to be there. Thanks Hasbro you Idiots



I contacted Hasbro for a hopeful replacement. I used a brown marker to try and cover up the imperfection. I also had to use a ball point pen to redraw her right eyebrow since I lost some of it

Tarantulas came in from Amazon today and I found the retro packaging Baroness at Walmart. I've always really liked how Tarantulas stood out among the Predacons as THE creepy prick on the team and even on its own merits this is a well done, colorful toy. I got the Cobra Island Baroness with COIL a little over a year ago but the figure itself had some little issues that added up to me being inclined to pick this one up when/if I found it, which I clearly did. The colors on the Target one are more nuanced whereas this release's outfit is largely just black except for the red Cobra emblem, it's still a good looking figure though. The included arsenal (all borrowed from previous figures) and base are nice.

Ordered Mojo via Amazon yesterday. He arrived today. All-in-all I'm pleased. Sure, the deco is a bit sparse compared to renders of the box-set slated for release later this year. Ultimately, I decided the value for that "exclusive" wasn't there, in comparison.

^ Holy crap... your Boba Fett has a giant sticker on it... I hope that thing comes off easy or you are opening him up. I also want one of those Avatar mechs so bad for my 4" World of Halo Marines... that Avatar mech is way cooler than the Halo one IMO since you can actually see inside the cockpit.

People are saying that particular 3.75" Dark Times Vader is the best 3.75" Vader ever made... and they think he will be the basis for the upcoming VC Return of the Jedi Vader figure that was teased as a pipeline reveal. I still need a 3.75" Vader, but will probably wait for the RoTJ version.
