Red Rage Toxie was waiting for me when I got home from work. Really fun figure, takes me right back to the 90’s. I’ve ripped on Super7 in the past, just for the price, but recently I’ve been picking some stuff up and I’ve yet to be disappointed.

Except the costume I was referring to is NOT Maleficent's normal costume. THe one is for that toy that was pictured which I thought was an Evil-Lyn toy at first before realizing it said Maleficent on it.

Doesn't matter. Maleficent is the OG "Evil-Lyn". Therefore EVERYTHING Maleficent wears and/or endorses is original and Evil-Lyn is simply bitin'. Maleficent is ultra-powerful. She looked into the future 100 years ago and knew The Lyn would rise. Maleficent allowed Lyn to wear the Rib-Cage Brassiere that she trademarked 90 years ago. She pulled out her original model for the Mirrorverse Gala to show Lyn just how behind The Mal she truly was. OG Mistress of evil, son. Recognize.

Herr Doktor is in the house! He looks amazing. I am surprised that Hasbro Joe team did not take the opportunity to make an updated Dr. Minderbender and give the man a Dr's shirt? I always thought he was a joke for being barechested!

Technically this guy arrived about a week ago but like much of you I'm sure, I was caught up in Thanksgiving and being with my family. But today I finally opened my Union Gomez and honestly he is all that. The outfit looks great and hardly is in the way of articulation, the accessories are awesome, and I feel less worried about damaging his outfit than I do anyone with pleather or spandexy material. This is my first Gomez and I always thought the novelty of the middle finger hands was lost on me but they're pretty actually pretty funny in hand. However he might've just met his match. |

Check his shoulders and back. My figure (and the figures of many others) were stained by his cape.

FOR THE ROYALITY...... UPS dropped off Inferno today.
Great robot mode great beast mode . I wish his weapon was more cartoon accurate than his ass thrusters. But glad to have all the predacons now I like keeping Inferno's Abdomen shut in robot mode. It's so cool having all the Season 1 Beast Wars Characters Last edited by ThorOdinson123; 11-30-2022 at 05:44 PM.. |

Boba Fett Prototype Armor from Amazon sale arrived. Hasbro milking the mold. Also got Ninja Foodi Air Fry oven on sale at Best Buy for 50% off. Works great. We have made pizza, crinkle fries, crab cakes and waffles so far It flips up to save space on the counter. My In-laws bought 1 after we told them about it.

I get your point but it feels wrong to say they're "milking the mold" in this case since it is mostly accurate and this is just a repack of the Walgreens exclusive from 2014 for people who missed that. To clarify for anyone that might not know, this is not based on McQuarrie's concept of the Imperial commando which became the basis for Fett's look it is based on the first physical build of the costume they made in '78 to screen test. There is the technical inaccuracy that the cape on the actual costume was in fact a Star Wars beach towel and the costume at that point lacked the braided pelts.

Isn't the physical build of the costume for that screen test based loosely on the mcquarrie concept art? It really seems like you are splitting hairs with a chicken or the egg argument |

The test costume is clearly evolved from the concept, I was pointing out that the figure is specifically based on the test costume and not the art itself. I remember back in 2014 a LOT of people were complaining about how the figure didn't look like the art even though it's not supposed to. In a case of A (art) leading to B (prototype) leading to C (film costume), this figure represents point B. I hope this was clearer.

I went to all four WMs in my town looking for these lastnight. Struck out.
Went back to the Walmart about a mile away from our house this morning. Found a dude who went to the back found the display. They come in a shared end cap display with TF and ML. As a result there are only TWO Purge Troopers to the entire display. He pulled the display and let me grab the figures I wanted and then he put it up (yeah no idea why) To say the least I was shocked and thankful by the incredible service at WM. Not only that but dude was very happy to help! The display has SW CW Black Series, Purge Troopers, I-Jac, retro TF Beastwars, Ulik, Lizard and retro cell shaded Spidey. |

First off, there's no need to be rude. Second, I stand by my opinion. The ESB Boba Fett has been repainted into variants like 5 different times so it's definitely been milked to death at this point, but the first repaint of any figure wouldn't typically be called milking and so a straight repack of the first repaint doesn't seem like it should be either.
