I know it's got to have some sentimental values!

So how much were those Lego Dioramas?
if memory serves me correctly, the small one was $45 and the other two were $70!

I got my Pops of Spike and Faye from Cowboy Bebop today. I had Jet from back around Thanksgiving so they look great.

I also got a pop of Mr Aizwa last week as a belated X-mas gift

This was my last haul of 2022! Psylocke was the only thing that I actually spent money on, while everything else was through trade!

Zarana arrived a few days after Christmas. She was supposed to arrive before, but got delayed by the snowstorm. Then I had to wait for a replacement because her shoulder joint was glued and rendered useless.

She is fantastic, my new favorite female in the line.

I finally found Pipes at a local Wal-Mart and was only $13 (even though it didn't say clearance or anything). The Lego were all on clearance/rollback as well.

I have been waiting 15 years for this series to be on Blu-Ray, and it's finally happened. With 4K for the first theatrical film no less.

NO! NOOOOO! I grew up watching horror films, trust me: Freddy, Jason, Myers, etc., I watched them all and nothing - no one ever bothered me. Then I watched Ju-on, and for the next few days, I kept imagining that kid's going to be standing around the corner every time I round the corner in my basement or go up to the attic. And you're telling me there's a "series"?!?! NO!!!!!!

lol

There's 2 direct to video movies that came out in 2000. Then they had 2 theatrical films in 2003. That was followed up by two more movies to celebrate the anniversary in 2009 called White Ghost and Black Ghost. In 2014 and 2015 there was duology reboot (not included in this set). They also had a horrible movie with Kayako from this series fighting Sadako from the Ring series. Lastly, there is a 6 episode TV series on Netflix called Ju-On Origins, which retconned the story into being that it is the house that is cursed, not the Saeki family.

And then there have been 4 American movie, though the first one is the only one that is good while they got progressively worse as they went along. In fact, the most recent American movie was my worst movie of 2020.

Wow, I never knew there's such a large universe behind the franchise. Then again, I stopped after the first movie. I actually have The Grudge 2 in my dvd collection, got it as a part of a dvd bundle on eBay, to this day I refuse to watch it. Anyway, it sounds typical for the Americans to take over a property and then run it into the ground. However, Kayako fighting Sadako from the Ring series does sound interesting, sort of that Freddy vs Jason premise.

I just watched this movie last week. It had potential, but it wasn't very good. And the ending is horrible. It's worth a curiosity watch, but I wouldn't spend money on it.

Yeah, I would advise not to watch it. Not only is the ending as bad as Villano said, but also they completely disregarded the Ju-On rules to make it work with the Ring stuff. Not to mention the whole movie looks fake. I don't mean fake as in a movie, I mean fake as in it looks like a bunch of amateur YouTubers shot a bunch of scenes over the weekend infront of a greenscreen and then called it a movie. The lighting is horrendous too.

Yeah, I won't watch it. Thanks for the heads-up. I'm just saying it's a neat idea.
