To me, this is the castle grayskull of thundercats. I feel like they used it in every episode and seems more recognizable than the lair. |

I have to push down real hard on the rear to get anything moving. It’s thin but not as bad as it looks. I would have preferred wheels underneath the tread and the tread being plastic. I don’t trust this material long term…..I could be wrong.
To me, this is the castle grayskull of thundercats. I feel like they used it in every episode and seems more recognizable than the lair. The tank IS the Greyskull of T-Cats. I know they had the Cat's Lair. But the tank is the most iconic non-sentient character of the show. Just like Greyskull. They should have created the rear treads using small section PVC sections. And geared those to the wheels. The plastic used on Classified figures would have been great. It's very firm but flexes great. As you said the treads look thin. Also a little whimpy |

![]() ![]() I got Magistrate Greef Karga from Black Series. A definite step up from that S1 figure. The head sculpt looks just like Carl Weathers |

My wife and son bought me the mega construx snake mountain for my birthday….which was way easier and more fun than Grayskull.
And Batman and Robin showed after years of waiting. The thunder tank is coming on Wednesday. I have some really big problems to solve. ![]() Quote:

![]() Got Wattson from Jakks' Apex Legends line. She was the only character from this game I was actively hoping for them to make so I am glad they finally got her done since I think the line is on its last leg. Target has been the only large retailer I've seen still carry these and even then they stopped like two assortments ago. I had to order this online. Regarding the figure itself though, it's perfectly alright but nothing spectacular. She's got a decent articulation scheme considering her puffy jacket, but that only really limits the elbows. The paint apps are typical Jakks level of acceptable but not impressive. What's here is mostly cleanly done but some of the colors are off (like the red coils on her backpack should match the copper color on the deployed version) and other details are absent. I will commend the effort given to the lichtenberg scars on her cheek though, these are pretty nice. Her only accessory is the deployed version of the interceptor pylon which is a decently sized piece and painted as much as it probably should be. No weapons are included but she still has a peg on her back for storing them, most of the other figures in this line come with multiple weapons so I guess the idea was just to share those. Personally I would've included a little Nessie accessory but generally I'm pleased with the total package considering this is the only figure of Wattson out there and my expectations of Jakks Pacific aren't too critical.

![]() Got the McFarlane Dark Knight Two-Face. First note, he does not come with a gun I just loaned him this pistol from NECA for this photo so his right hand wouldn't be empty. I later dug out a more accurate revolver for him but didn't want to bother retaking the picture. On to the figure itself, I think it's pretty nice. I appreciate that his coin is both represented and that it isn't a separate accessory that could easily be lost. Harvey isn't a gymnast but the articulation scheme on this figure means you could probably make him one, the ball joint in his mid-torso is surprisingly uninhibited despite the jacket. Paint apps are mostly good but on mine there's some paint bleed on his chin where the exposed bone color exceeds its sculpted zone and then on his neck the skin tone doesn't extend all the way down. The Aaron Eckhart likeness on the non-burnt half is kinda there but it's like a comic book version, I think the simple but clean paint apps on that side are what have me feeling that way. The paint apps on the burnt half look well applied but there's a built-in allowance for this side to be sloppy so any mistakes probably get washed out anyway (I'm sure this half could vary notably from figure to figure), but the eye and teeth/bones are all positioned right and look sharp enough. The figure is technically based on the movie but it's not the spitting image of what was seen on screen so I'd argue it could be worked into just about any McFarlane DC crowd sorta like their Arkham City Catwoman. I'd still like to see their attempt at an Arkham game version or a good comic look but this movie was such a great portrayal of the character and this figure is a satisfying representation.

That was one of my all time favorite movies and I thought all the actors had iconic performances... ledger as pure anarchy and chaos/evil, bale as good and eckhart in between and amoral who can be swayed. I always wanted to see how the third movie would have turned out if heath ledger was alive for it. |

"Dad! It's supposed to be my turn!" Finally shipped my pile of loot. Got the Naughty or Nice Collection Santa in, the Marvel Select Red Hulk, replacement Dungeons & Dragons Bobby, and I found a marvel legends The Hood at Ross for $10. The previous one I got had his arm broken off in the package so I had been using it mainly as a victim for whatever monster. Speaking of monsters, I didn't think Diamond Select had gone that big on this mold. I can forgive scaling given they are meant for 7' figures but my legends Abomination looks even more diminutive now. |

![]() The D&D figures are bit of a mixed bag. Simon has his legs assembled upside down with the cuffs plugged into the hips, Edgins feet dont move up much which makes it hard for him to stand and Holga has a similar problem with her feet. They look good though and once you get them standing it's fine.

![]() Picked up Scorch and Fixer at Gamestop since they're doing pro week sales which knocked them down to just under $20 each. All of my nitpicky problems from the Boss figure still exist here but overall they do have their unique flourishes that make me appreciate them. They still had Sev too but he just looks too removed from the way he was in the game for me to want.

![]() ![]() I had to pick up this model kit from Flame toys! It is a little smaller than I would have preferred and the head sits a little too low on the neck, but the articulation is top notch and balance is probably the best I have seen from a model kit. I've been tempted by those kits how many stickers does it come with? I'm not very good with placement.

This is the first Flame Toys model I have done and believe it or not there are no stickers! All the parts were painted on the runner. These rangers are really well done

Finally found Dracula and Invisible Man at Best Buy of all places. I finally got to use the rest of a gift card I had, so they only cost me about $8 cash.

![]() Marvel Select Apocalypse arrived today. I'll start with my cons; the tubes are pretty firm so there's only so far you can move his arms before they unplug and the shoulders are restricted so that they can't achieve a relaxed by his sides position. He only has the one head featuring a fairly pissed expression, it's not terrible but it's not great either and again it feels limiting for posing ideas. Beyond the mentioned shoulder limits his articulation is pretty standard for modern Selects. On to the pros. He's a good-sized 7" scale Apocalypse standing just over 9" tall when upright and he captures his classic comic physique of large but not hulking (not that I'm opposed to the beefier depictions). His color palette is appropriately composed of varying blues, touches of silver, grey for his head, and red and yellow for his eyes. I think they should've been bolder with the red, in certain lighting it looks more like a brown. He has a pretty nice array of hand/arm options with a pair of relaxed hands, a pair of fists, a spiked-ball hand, and a claw and drill which replace the entire forearm. The weapons are compatible on either arm and have ports for his tubes. He's not perfect but considering he only cost $30 before shipping and tax I'm very happy with how this one turned out.
