Yeah, I figured these two would make great horror victims for pictures revolving around Halloween, Friday the 13th, etc, but I didn't want to spend full price on them.

I like Special Missions better than the main line of GIJoe comics. Where every Joe gets a spotlight on what they do best, and some of the stories are really memorable. Not just another "Adventure of Snake Eyes and his ninja buddies" that the regular line became later.

Okay, so we watched the first 7 episodes to Mononoke tonight and it's been enjoyable so far. It's a bit slow moving, but very suspenseful and creepy at times. The animation has this pappery texture to it, making it look like it has been animated on a scroll or something. It's quite neat and fits the weirdness of the show perfectly. It's an anthology of horror tales rather than a character series, giving it a nice Tales from the Crypt/Twilight Zone type feel to it, just with a reoccuring character, a mysterious Yokai hunter dude named the Medicine Peddler. The first two episodes revolved around the Yokai Zashiki Warashi, the next three were a tale on the sea with an Umibozu, while the third dealt with the Nappero-Bo (Faceless Ghost) in another two-parter. There's two more stories, one being 2 episodes with the last being 3.

Now I need to pick up Ayakashi Samurai Horror Tales, which is the series that introduced the Medicine Peddler in one of its segments.

Finished the whole series. It was damn good. I wish it was a 26 episode one.

Purchased my first ever marvel legends figure today, I wanted some nameless thugs/goons to use with my G.I.Joe Classified series. Plus I needed the crowbar accessory for a big project I've been working on I was very hesitant because of the windowless packaging, but thankfully I got decent QC and paint.

I only picked up one this morning at Target, and then had to go back out tonight to get something else and stopped by again to get a second since I liked the first one so much. I couldn't resist since they only rang up $25 each instead of $28.
