She would have been a more interesting character than Reva, a new species with a mysterious past, probably sell more toys too by the look alone, her design just look cooler.

I had typically played as Cindy since she could hoard herbs, leaving the extra room in the inventory slots for other items. Outbreak is the only game I played online consistently. Although, I wasn't as big a fan of the scenarios from File 2 as I was with the first one outside of the zoo level.

Unfortunately, I was so pissed off at RE6 back in 2012 I stupidly got rid of nearly my entire RE collection. Games, movies, toys, books, etc. All I kept was the GC version of REmake and my PS1 copies of 2 and 3.

Now I'm on this RE kick and regret my poor decision, so I'm trying to recoop everything I can, at least game wise. Recently borrowed the movies from a friend who has the 6 collection and pondered why I liked any of them at all. They were pretty bad, even the first two, which I originally cherished a lot.

The live action ones are just absolutely abysmal. The ones to watch are the cgi ones. I dont get a lotta of the hate for RE6. I liked it way more than 5 ( god was sheva an idiot. Went theough ammo l8ke 8 go through soda haha ) and the ai partner was vastly improved. Plus it had my favorite character leon. I tell ya id love to see Billy Cohen from zero or bruce mcgivern from dead aim get a new game. Only game in re i dont have is village and thats only because im trying find a gold edition version because its got a third person mode.

I find the CGI movies just as bad as the live action ones. The only halfway decent one was Degeneration, but even that was kind of meh. The CGI movies just redo the same crap over and are quite boring. The only saving grace for the second one was the pretty cool Tyrant battle against the Lickers. 6 was a perfect example of being a jack of all trades and a master of none. It was a mess everywhere. It got rid of all sense of suspense and tension and replaced it with random action set pieces that made no sense. Bosses were bulletsponges and the story just spat all over what came before. Chris' game was pretty much a Gears of War knock-off. Leon's was trying to be Left 4 Dead. Jake's was whatever the hell that was supposed to be (what the fuck are motorcycle riding missions doing in a RE game???). Ada's was the least offensive campaign.

As for 5, it wasn't perfect, but it works as a series finale to the original characters given it brings an end to Wesker, who was the true villain of the series. It did also still retain moments of suspense like the first encounter with the Ouroborus and the creep island natives.

As for Sheva, only give her bullets when she needs them. Have her carry the puzzle items, ammo for guns you didn't give her, etc.

The third person mode is part of the Winter Expansion that comes with the story Shadow of Roses. Unlike previous games, the Gold Edition of Village does not come with the DLC on the disc, it includes a download voucher. I actually picked up the regular game from Walmart for $20 last month and then got the Winter Expansion on sale a few weeks ago for $15, so I paid less than I would have had I did the Gold Edition.

I am currently playing Village and yes, I am enjoying it in third person, though, I'm still unsure of my feelings towards the game overall. I just beat the first boss and she was quite easy. Even the minibosses were a breeze as I beat them with my knife.

I would love to see a new remake of the original game that is done in the new playstyle so it can match with the others. Plus, they can fix the narrative issues by having Barry and Rebecca be there in the end on top of having Rebecca reveal everything she experienced with Billy to Chris instead of acting like she has no idea what is going on. Oh, and getting rid of the Crimson Heads. They make no sense.

Anyway, another thing I'm planning to do is doing some sort of Retrospective video for Halloween next month.

You may get your wish about re1. I heear theres a remake of it in the pipes. Hopefully they redo zero as well. And yah the whole crimson head thing was a big wtfits. Also the alt outfits were boring.

I never understood why they didn't give them the Director's Cut outfits as alternate costumes in the remake. Instead, we got Sarah Connor for some reason for Jill.
